"Jungkookie..." Jimin mutters. "Say something."

But he doesn't. He keeps looking ahead, a discontent expression on his face.

It is now in mid December—a few days after Jimin has fainted and fallen off stage. The day after the incident, they were able to track down the fan who threw the phone at Jimin. Turns out, it was a young ARMY. A dedicated Taehyung and Jungkook fan who has supported them from the very beginning. She was devastated seeing Jimin and Jungkook together and threw her phone out of spite.

Despite BTS and crew members' objections, Jimin decides to not press any charges. Jimin pities her—she's so young...just a little girl who still has her whole life ahead of her.

Jimin purses his lips as he stares at Jungkook. He lightly bumps into Jungkook's arm with his shoulder to get his attention, who sends him an irritated look in return.

"Just because I took you out doesn't mean I'm not mad anymore," Jungkook states, crossing his arms across his chest.

Jimin laughs good-naturedly. "Jungkook-ah, you saw the girl's face. She was beyond terrified."

"And?" Jungkook drawls. "Just because she was scared of consequences doesn't change what she did. You letting this go is like saying that it's okay to hurt people just because things don't go the way you want."

"I know," Jimin adds quickly. "But I wasn't seriously hurt because of her. She's probably already receiving tons of criticism already."

Jungkook opens his mouth to protest, but Jimin presses his index finger to his lips, stopping him in his track. "Jungkook," he says softly. Jimin's light blond hair flies gently in the wind, making him look so ethereal. "Just let it go. For me?"

Jungkook stares back at him, finding himself unable to tear away his gaze. Eventually, he sighs and caves in. He massages his forehead, causing creases to appear.

Jimin frowns at him. "Are you still upset about it?"

"No," Jungkook replies as he looks up. This is the first time since forever that Jimin gets to look at him this close-up. He notices that Jungkook is sporting eyebags, little stubbles growing on his chin.

"I'm not upset about it," Jungkook says, his voice soft. "I just feel like..."

"Like?"

Jungkook is silent as he thinks for a moment. "Like a mess," he finally says. "I really couldn't control my anger. And for escalating things...I shouldn't have done that on stage."

Jimin raises an eyebrow at him in surprise. If anything, Jimin's more than glad that he did what he did. "It's okay. You were looking out for me. None of us would've expected it."

Jungkook just shakes his head, refusing to drink in his words. "I'm sorry, hyung," he mutters.

"Hey," Jimin interjects, putting his hands on either side of his cheeks to force him to look at him. Just like what Jungkook had done for him when he had a mental breakdown over the picture incident. "You didn't do anything wrong. So, let's stop with this blaming game, okay?"
