Don't Leave Me' is my favorite BTS song and I think it suits this chapter so well, so do check it out!

For Jimin, the whole hospital is a whirlwind of action. But all he can do is peer through the small rectangular window on the ICU room's door, and even then, he can't make out much. He manages to catch some words such "concussion" and "whiplash," which definitely doesn't sound good.

How could he have been so careless? If only he'd put more thoughts—

"JIMIN!" A loud voice calls from behind. Jimin can recognize that voice from anywhere. He whips around, relief washes over when he sees his members running towards him. Namjoon is in the front, his eyebrows etched with concern.

He grabs the younger member by his shoulders. "Jimin, is he okay? Are you okay? What happened?"

"H-he fell," Jimin manages to utter out. He feels light headed, unable to think clearly. Taehyung steps up and puts an arm around him for support. "It's my fault. Hyung, it's all my fault."

"Shhh," Jin hushes him gently. "The staffs are on their way, they're going to take care of it. Jungkook will be okay."

"For sure," Hoseok adds, but he looks just as worried.

At the mention of the staff members, all of the colors on Jimin's complexion disappear. Before he can even ask anything further, loud sounds of feet thumping on the ground catch his attention. He turns to see manager hyung leading a group of concerned staff and securities, and his heart drops.

This is it.

"Jimin-ah," Namjoon cuts in, pulling him away from the sight as he attempts to defocus his gaze. "Look at me."

"Hyung," Jimin says, his voice pained and strained. "I think...I have to go."

It doesn't take long before the BigHit staff members reach them. When manager hyung's gaze lands on his, Jimin sees no traces of compassion. His eyes are narrowed, rigid, cold, and hard. In that moment, Jimin realizes there are no more excuses or second chances. He draws in a deep breath; the burning hard stare would last only as long as it takes for the manager to think of most brutally cutting words he can use to tear Jimin down.

Namjoon, on the verge of panicking, steps in between the two. "Jimin-ah, you're tired. Go home and rest. We'll take it from here. Okay?" But he's too dazed and afraid to listen.

He turns to the fuming manager. "Let's talk about this later. Jimin is not in a good state of mind, and Jungkook needs us."

"It'll be quick," is his only response as the he fixes them in his cold stare.

"Sir," Jin cuts in. But before he can say anything else, Jimin puts a hand on his arm, stopping him in his tracks.

"It's okay," Jimin tells his members. He tries to sound brave, but the shakiness in his voice gives it away. "It'll be okay. I'll just tell him what happened, that's all."
