i woke up
sweating
on the couch
in my living room.
my demons
were back
and they were haunting me
more than usual.
i stumbled to the bathroom
where i found the meds
the doctor gave me.
i just poured a bunch
into my hand
and threw them in my mouth
and swallowed them
with water.
i headed back to the couch.
i was starting to feel a little
dizzy.
maybe i would feel better if i
slept for a little bit.
