Marcel's POV

I feel myself falling and falling, into the never ending pit.

It's like I'm moving in slow motion, reliving my darkest moments.

Paybacks a bitch right?

I finally collapse and hit the ground.

I'm wheezing and I feel like I'm taking my last and final breath. Then I hear screaming and I can point out that voice from anywhere.

Fayth.

I feel somebody pick me up and I'm engulfed into darkness, then I feel a jolt in my body and I feel hands squeezing mine, so I squeeze back.

I hear crying but it's faint.

"We're almost the-!" I barely hear.

Then I feel my body twist, I hear screams, I hear tires scraping the dry concrete road, I smell the tire burns, I breathe in smoke...

and...

and...

Finally, I take in my last breath.

I feel my lungs collapse, my body becomes immobile, my heart stops, my eyes close.

I can't breathe in the fresh air we all take for granted.

I thought I had more time....

Is this really it?

I thought I'd live my life to the fullest. Have the white picket fence with a dog, a baby, a big house, a beautiful wife, and a stable job.

In this life???

You can't have dreams like that. This is reality, we die every day, violence like this happens, this was inevitable.

But I'm glad I had the chance to meet Fayth... I regret not telling her my feelings, how I want to spend my life with her.

We could have lived happily ever after.

But like I said in this life..... nothing comes true.

That's my last thought before I blank out into a deep, dark, long, peaceful sleep.

But before that, I hear my Queen crying out to me in vain, loneliness, and despair.
