"Darling. Hello. It's time!"

"Time for what?" Even though I already know what he's talking about.

"You look okay." He says observing me up and down.

"What time is this going to happen?"

"Very soon. Very soon." He says slowly nodding his head, looking into yonder.

"Well, how many?"

He looks startled for a minute then starts to laugh.

"Just know It'll be a long long night for you. Then tomorrow how about we make an appointment for that baby."

"What?" I ask highly confused.

"A death sentence."

"You're really funny." I say laughing, nobody's touching my baby.

"She's not even out of your stomach! Why are you so bent on keeping it?"

"Why the hell are you doing this? This is your baby too! You'd want to kill her?"

"I was with him after I got pregnant. I was like 3 or 4 months pregnant when I meet him!"

"How worst can it get?"

"I don't think you'd want to know." He says knowingly.

I stay silent.

"Well they'll be here in like 30 minutes, so get ready."

Good, that'll mean when the men get here it'll leave like 30 minutes or so for Lacey's son to come.

When he left not a minute later the door opens.

"Hey, are you okay?" Lacey asks.

"Yeah. He said in 30 minutes the men will be here. Do you know how many?"

"No. I think about 5. He made me make dinner for them."

"Oh my god!"

"He'll get you out."

"He'll get us out." I repeat.

"Yeah us." She says softly.

"Time needs to go faster it seems like I'm going to die soon." I groan.

"Stop exaggerating. You're going to be fine, he'll be here before anything happens."

"I hope so." I say heading into wonderland.

The day goes by slowly and painfully, I'm dreading the next 15 minutes.

"Thanks, Lacey."

"No, thank you."

"No really. You've been a good friend."

"No problem sweetheart."

We sit and then there's a knock on the door.

"Put this on her." Lamonte says, throwing Lacey a red dress.

"Yes, sir."

I just get up and put the dress on, she also does my makeup and I'm wearing heels too.

It's a red short dress, with no strap, a lot of my skin is on display. My cleavage is basically popping out and it looks like I'm ready to apply at a strip club.

Which I'm not.

I stand up and look at myself.

"You look beautiful, darling."

She actually seems like a mother figure. And I haven't had one in so long and I'm so grateful for her presence. She's basically saving my life.

The door burst open.

"They're here baby!"

"Don't call me that. You know I won't be here for long. Marcel is going to save me."
