*We go through the Bifrost and I take us to the pavement where I left him, but he's isn't there. He must have broke free from my spell.*

Loki: I swear I left him right here.

Thor: Where? Here, on the sidewalk or here where the building is being demolished?-Great planning.

Loki: How was I supposed to know?! I can't see into the future. I'm not a witch!

Thor: No? Then why do you dress like one?

What are you? A fashion designer now, Thor?

Loki: Hey!

Thor: I can't believe you're alive. I saw you die. I cried for you, I mourned you.

Loki: I'm honoured?

Who's that?

Excited Midgard Girl: Hi, would you mind taking a picture with us?

Thor: Oh! sure.

Typical. He just can't get enough publicity, can he?

Thor: (To me) Start thinking about where he is.

Oh, sure. *Rolls eyes*

Other Midgard Girl: Sorry to hear that Jane dumped you.

Oh, their relationship was public? He must have loved  that. *One of the girls gives me a look* Hey, what was that look for? ...Oh, yes-how did I forget? I should really change my appearance next time we come to Midgard. Not that I'm hoping there is a next time.

Thor: She didn't dump me. I dumped her...It was mutual dumping.

'Dumped'? Is that the Earth-word for 'deciding not to be in a relationship with them anymore'? Or does it mean leaving you in a literal dump? -I'm sure it's something like that, he hasn't mentioned her recently. -Sure, Thor. I believe you. *Pats his back*

*A glowing gold circle appears underneath me. It swirls around* What is that? Did I do that? I didn't even-

Thor: What-What is this? What are you doing?!

Loki: (Alarmed) This isn't me.

*I feel it pulling into the ground somehow. Then I realise...* It's a portal! *I fall through the floor*

Loki: Woah!

Wow. What's going on? I'm falling too fast! -Yes, Loki-This day couldn't get any better, could it?! This is it. When I hit the ground, I will surely die. Hel, here I come!

That is-if there is ground. Where in the Nine Realms am I?! Thor could happily be sitting in an armchair drinking beer for all I know.

Hopefully he's searching for Odin so I don't have to. -I knew I should have made my spell even stronger.

How long does this go on for?! I must have been falling for at least twenty minutes by now. What sorcery is this?! It isn't any magic I know. Yet it seems very simple. Whoever dared to put me in this seemingly-never-ending groundless pit will feel the wrath of my power.

I'm starting to think that this is worse than hitting ground. *Another golden circle appears* Please let that be the portal home. -Argh! *I hit hard ground*

Loki: I have been FALLing FOR THIRTY MINUTES!

Robed Midgard Man: You can handle it from here.

Well, that must be the man who grounded me into an endless pit. Probably some-sort of mortal who doesn't know what he's doing. Some kind of magic. -'It'? By 'it' does he mean me?!

Thor: Yes, yes. Thank you very much for helping us.

That's it.

Loki: -Handle me? *Thrusting my daggers out from my sleeves* You think you're some sort of sorcerer? Don't think for one minute you second-rate-

Robed 'Sorcerer': Alright, bye-bye! *Pushes us through another portal*

Loki: Woah!

Who exactly does he think he is?! Odin's beard...I hope I never see him again. Speaking of Odin...

Thor: *Walking up next-to him* Father?

Odin: Look at this place. It's beautiful.

He's changed his tone.

Thor: Father. It's us.

Odin: My sons.

Son? He called me...his son. Why?

Odin: My sons, I have been waiting for you.

Thor: Yes, we've come to take you home.

Odin: ...Home? Yes. Your mother. She calls me.

Mother! ...Mother? -But she's... Is he...dying?!

Odin: Can't you hear it?

Oh, no.

Thor: Loki, is this your magic?

*I shake my head in dismay* Why would I do that in the first place?

Odin: *Laughs* (To me) Took me quite a while to break free from your spell. Frigga would have been proud.

What have I done? Mother...Please forgive me.

Everyone forgive me.

Thor: I know we have failed you, but we can make this right.

Please...listen to Thor.

Odin: -I fear of you. It is upon us. Ragnarok.

Ragnarok? I thought that was just a story.

Thor: No, I stopped Ragnarok. I put an end to Surtur.

Odin: No. It's already begun. She's coming.

She?

Odin: My life was all that held her back, but my time has come.

Father, no. He is dying. ...I'm sorry, Thor.

Odin: I cannot keep her back.

Thor: Her?

Odin: Hela. Goddess of Death. My first-born. Your sister.

What?! Yes, he's dying, but now he decides to tell us we have an older sister who is the Goddess of Death?! I-I can't...

Thor: (Teary) What?

Odin: Her actions were beyond my control. I couldn't stop her, so I imprisoned her. She gets her powers from Asgard. Once she gets there, her powers will be...limitless.

I wish he warned us.

Thor: Who-Whoever she is-we can stop her we can stop her together. We-

Odin:- No. I'm on a different path now. You must face her alone. I love you, my sons.

He can't be dying. It's my doing, my fault. Mother's death was my fault too.-Ragnarok is my fault...If we were in Asgard we would have had extra help-it's all my fault.

Odin: *Pointing to the horizon* Look at that. Remember this place. Home.

Home? But- *Odin disappears and floats away. A few seconds later, I notice the sky turns dark and stormy*

Why is the sky stormy?- *I look over to Thor, whose fists are clenched, and he looks angrily into the distance. The sky gets worse.*

Loki: Brother...

*He looks threateningly over to me* And I wish I didn't ask.

Thor: *The sky calming* This was your doing.

I know. But I can't exactly fix it. You know now how I felt when Mother died.
