I thought my costume was terrible, compared to those girls with zombie princess costumes. Then I saw you. You were wearing a carrot suit. It was funny. I suddenly felt better.
Everyone was having fun, running around with candies in their baskets. But you just stood there, on the sidewalk. Your dark brown eyes traveled left and right, like you were searching for something. I waited for your eyes to meet mine.
And they did.
So I hopped towards you.
I was a bunny and you looked like my carrot.
