I'm honestly surprised that the Sorcerer is alive. I could feel how powerful his aura is, but damn, I don't really want to be on his bad side. Seto's hands are shaking slightly from magic over use, but he doesn't show any other sign of strain. Ty watches me like a halk when Jason scrapes away one of the runes.

I immediately try and take a cocky step forwards, but I fall on my face with a small squeak. Ouch, that hurt. I hear Jason giggle a little bit, and I growl at the lesser demon. That shuts him up. Ty actually has the nerve to grab my arm and pull me back up. My first instinct at being touched is to bite his hand, but I don't. "Thanks", I mumble, just loud enough for him to hear. I feel his surprise at my words.

Having a physical body in this world is weird. At least I didn't have to posses anyone. I can't disappear anymore or change my tounge to look like a snake's, but I can now defend myself better and use my magic to its fullest. My body looks just like how my projection was. I won't be stuck inside an object if my magic decides to hide. I'm still a little shaky on my feet when I push away from Ty. "Well? Are you going to take me to your leader?", I say in a high pitched voice. "I swear that you're the strangest demon I have ever met", Seto deadpans before spinning around and leaving the stone room which I have been kept in.

I try my best to follow, half crawling up the stairs. I call it mountain climbing. I can't help but marvel at how the smooth the stone walls are against the skin on my hands. Jason follows right behind me with Ty bribing up the rear. Surprisingly, I don't feel as threatened as I should with a lesser demon behind my back. Maybe it's just because his aura is barely there. That doesn't explain my sudden gratitude when my foot slips at the top of the stairs, and Jason grabs my arm to keep me from slipping back down.

Ugh, I forgot that a physical form on earth cones with human emotions. I'm half way disgusted with myself. I still follow Seto through the base, highly aware of how loud my shoes are on the floor. I didn't make any sound before. This place really is massive. I dim my eyes to better hide their glow behind my sunglasses as more mortals walk by. They nod to Seto, then stare at me as I pass by. I'm flattered by the attention, but I don't really have time to grace them all with my amazing personality.

It's about a five minute walk (from what I can tell), until we reach a large building in the corner of the walled in area. "Alright, I'm going to leave you hear. I've notified Quinten and Red that your coming. Jason, you're in charge of Bodil", Seto says, walking off to who knows where. "But why!? I should be the one in charge of Jason", I wine at Seto's back. "Things work differently here. Now come on", Jason tells me. Ty seems to be listening closely to our exchange. Jason doesn't notice. Does he really trust these mortals enough to not watch them like I do? I'm starting to think that Jason's not so loyal to the Dark Lord. I've never heard of any demons who even think about that sort of treachery.

Ty leads Jason and I this time, into the house and up another two flights of stairs. I'm really starting to resent the inclined plains. They make my legs hurt and my breath come in small gasps. I am not use to moving a physical body in the mortal realm. I need to hit the gym. I'll do some cardio and pick up heavy things. We eventually get to a long hallway with lots of doors on each side. "This is where we keep sick or injured people", Ty explains to me, "Adam's in the last one.

After walking all the way down the hall, Jason pulls open the last door. I peak my head in before one of them can go in first. The red head from earlier, who is apparently called Red, stands next to a fish hybrid who must be Quinten. Different bottles of half empty potions are scattered everywhere, bloody bandages in a trash can. They two of them stand over someone in a bed with white sheets. Both of them look over to me when look in.

"Hi!", I chirp. "Oh great....", Red mumbles. Ty and Jason walk in behind me. "I'm glad that you brought him. I've tried about everything I can think of, but Adam won't wake up...", Quinten worries, bitting his nails. This is when he moves from next to the bed, and I can get a good look at him. His face is facing away from me, but he has brown hair tied back in a rat tail. A thick bandage is wrapped around his head. A gold amulet with a purple gem is around his neck. "Did Dawn do this? What happened?", I ask out loud.

"I found out Dawn's plans for this army, and I told Adam. He confronted her about it and she freaked out on him. Dawn somehow hit Adam on the head with a chair and knocked him out. He has a lot of blood loss", Ty explains. "And I'm worried that there's brain damage", Quinten adds. He leaves the room mumbling about going to get something. Well, now I'm kinda glad that I'm not with Dawn anymore. She sounds pretty crazy. "So you want me to try and heal him?", I ask one more time. "We don't have many other choices", Red points out. I'm not even sure that I can heal people. And if it's brain damage. I'm actually going to have to go and find what's keeping him from waking up.

I sigh before licking my thumb and sticking my spit coated finger on Adam's forehead. I'm still giggling as my vision goes black.
