chapter 14!!!

months past. My belly grows bigger, my dad and mom come sometimes since they get really busy with work. I'm 8 and 1/2 months pregnant. My due date is on August 25. Right now its July 31.

"Peeta, I really want breakfast. what are you going to make?" i ask as we both get dress. or in my case TRY to get dressed.

"Well my love, how about some eggs with pancakes?" He says kissing my hand.

"That sounds fantastic my love." i say trying to put my sweatpants on.

"You need help there darling?" he asks trying to sound a little too sweet.

"Please, baby." i say looking helpless.

"Don't worry, when we get our child we will be the most happiest parents ever." he says with a smile.

"Also when we get our child I finally stop having these stupid moods swings and my huge stomach will be out of the way." i say sounding grumpy.

Ugg, look at me, first i was acting so nice with peeta and now I'm grumpy. i hate this mood swings!

"Hey, don't worry, you still look as beautiful as ever." he says kissing me.

"Your just saying that because your my husband." i say being grumpy.

I'm being so mean to Peets right now! I hate it.

"No I am not, your the most beautiful woman i have ever seen." he says while holding my face.

"I don't deserve you." i say while I'm starting to cry.

"Shhh, shhh, baby, Katniss, I'm the one who doesn't deserve you. You could have gone with Gale for all I know, because Gale is a lot better than me. I really don't deserve you." he says while touching my cheek.

"Peeta, we know it's not true. Your better than Gale, your nicer, and you love me way better than he will ever love me." i say crying

"Katniss, I love you, how about we BOTH deserve each other. We are perfect for each other." He says smiling while cleaning away my tears.

"Peeta Mellark, I Love you!" I say kissing him so passionately.

"katniss Mellark, I love you too!" He says smiling and returning to the kiss.

We kiss for 3 minutes, then the kiss goes farther and farther. Until we stop and we just lay there in bed.

"Peeta?" i ask whispering to see if he didn't fall asleep.

"Yeah?" He whispers

"Those pancakes sound really good right now." i say, I'm getting really hungry.

He laughs,

"Ok, lets go." he says

"ok. But carry me downstairs please! I'm tired." I says feeling lazy.

Peeta is really strong, he can carry me when I'm pregnant! He can carry anything.

"Alright Beautiful." He says smiling while lifiting me up.

I start to laugh for no reason, damn these mood swings really are terrible! Peeta starts to laugh.

"What is so funny?" he asks

"I don't know, I just am very laughy right now." I say while laughing.

"You look so beautiful while your laughing." he says smiling

" So I don't look.beautiful while I'm mad?" i say trying to stop laughing

"You look hot when your mad." he says kissing my neck while he carries me down the stairs.

"So how do I look when I'm sad?" i ask while laughing again.

"You look pretty but I hate seeing you cry, it hurts me. I hate seeing you in pain. It breaks my heart every time I see you cry." He says trying to smile and look deep in my eyes.

"I love you! I know I'm laughing my butt off right now but remember I love you and I mean it every time I say it." I say while smiling so hard and giggling.

"You know I love you too. and i mean it." he says smiling.

He takes me downstairs and puts me in a chair, while he makes pancakes I start singing. Since the Capitol isn't incontrol in what we do or the type of music we can here there are a lot of different types of songs now. There is Rock, Pop, RB, Blues, Jazz, Heavy Metal and a lot more! I like pop, rb, and jazz and a little rock.

I start singing this song I heard before by a girl, her name was Demi I think, Demi Lovato. Yeah, thats her name! The song was called Catch Me. I really love that song! I sing it a lot when I'm in a lovey mood with Peeta. We both sing it together because we both sorta sing better together. Just like when we were little.

I sing the song with Peeta, Boy he got way better at singing! He sings good! After the pancakes are ready we both start eating, we talk about what we might do today. Today I have to do one last check up before I give birth.

We lay on the couch and then Peeta says,

"Katniss, I wanna give you something."

"What?" i ask smiling

"This."

He pulls out a necklace with a pearl on it. It's just not any pearl, it's the one he gave me in the Quarter Quell. Its beautiful. it's on a thin gold chain necklace, it's beauty is amazing!

"Oh my Gosh! Peeta... it's.. beautiful! Thank you! I love you so much!" i say smiling like a little kid that just got a gift in Christmas.

"It reminds me of you." he says smiling.

"Aww! I love you!" i say, i hug him and kiss him.

"Katniss, remember that rose you got in the school concert we did?" he asks

"Yeah, it's weird, i never knew who it was." i say looking confused.

"I gave you that rose." he says smiling

I smile. The rose from when I was young was given to the person i love so much. I can't be happier!
