J POV
I made lunch and set it on the side table in the room Betty was in. I help her sit up, and place pillows behind her. "You ok?" I ask. "You shouldn't have made me food. I'm not hungry." she says. "When was the last time you ate before you got here?" I ask. "3 days before the crash. I'm not hungry, so you can save it for later." she says. "You need to eat. It will help you feel better." I say. "Too bad. I don't want to eat." she says. "Why?" I ask. "Because I'm not hungry!" she snaps. "I know you're hungry. You just won't eat. If I have to go to the hospital, so they can put a tube in you, so you can eat, I will." I say. "I'm. Not. Hungry." she says. "You need to eat. I don't care if you say you're not hungry, because you are. Why won't you just eat?" I say. "BECAUSE IM NOT GOOD ENOUGH!" she yells, then holds her head. "Who told you that?" I ask softly. When she doesn't answer, I repeat myself a little louder. "I have always been told I'm not good enough. My mother used to put me on a diet, even at a young age. She told me to be more like my sister, or that I'm too fat and no one would like me. I have been starving myself for years and I'm still here, so leave me alone." she says. "Betty. You shouldn't believe her. She didn't deserve you, and you didn't deserve what they did to you. You're not fat, and you are good enough. You are Elizabeth Cooper. You're not you're sister." I say. "I finally had enough of it, so I ran. I couldn't take it anymore. I even have scars on my arms from...........from cutting myself." she says. I have a feeling that she hadn't told anyone this, not even fp. I hug her gently. "I'm here for you. If you ever feel like that, come to me, ok? I will help you through everything." I say. She nods and I look down at her lips, then back to her eyes. We slowly lean in and our lips connect. When we break, I say, "sorry. I shouldn't have done that." I get up. "Wait." she says, before I get out the door. "What?" I ask. "Come here." she replies. I walk over and she pulls me into a hug. "Thank you. For everything." she says. I pull back a little and she kisses my lips.

B POV
I thought I was supposed to hate him, but here I am, kissing him. "Juggie?" I ask. "Betts." he replies. I ignore the nickname and say, "what are we?" "What do you want us to be?" he asks. "I don't know." I replied truthfully. "Well, miss. Cooper, I want you to be my girlfriend, and I want to be your boyfriend." he says. My eyes shot up to his. "I like that." I smile. We kiss again, but my head ache comes back and I pull away. "What's wrong?" he asks. "Nothing. Just a headache. I'm fine." I lie. This is probably the worst one I've had. "I'm gonna try and get some sleep." I say rolling to my other side, so he wouldn't see the pain on my face. "Do you want some pain killers?" he asks softly. "No." I choke out. "You sure?" he asks. "Positive." I reply, closing my eyes. I hear him get up and close the door. With a sigh, I roll to my back and put pressure on my head. I decided to call Fp.

Fp: what's wrong?

B: just a headache. Nothing I can't handle, but it's the worst one. It won't quit and it's only getting worse.

Fp: you probably need to get a head scan. Do I need to take you?

B: you know I can't go to the doctor. They would ask way to many questions and get the police involved and I would go to jail. I just wanted to call and check on you.

Fp: I'm fine, just busy taking care of the serpents. Behave while you're there, please.

B: how am I not going to behave, I can't even sit up without help?!

Fp: you know what I mean. I gotta go. Bye.

B: bye.

I sigh and toss my phone to the bedside table. With my luck it falls off, most likely shattered the screen.

J POV
Why didn't she tell me this was her worst headache. I know she can't go to the hospital, but she still could have told me. I walk in with some pain killers, and she isn't facing me. "Betty?" I say. "What?" she asks. "Pain killers. I don't care if you don't want them, you're taking them, even if I have to shove them down your throat." I say. "Jesus, ok. Can you get my phone. It fell off the bedside table." she says. I hand her the pills and water. I watch her take them and get her phone. It was shattered from the camera to the home button. "Great." she sighed when I showed it to her. "I'll get you a new one." I say, as I get up. She just nods and smiles a little. "You know. You'd look even better if your smile was bigger." I whisper in her ear. She gets goosebumps and I start to kiss down her neck. "Juggie." she says. "Hmm." I mumble against her skin. "I thought you were getting me a phone?" she asks. I stop kissing her neck and look up at her. She has a little disappointment across her face. "You really want me to go get you a phone, right now?" I ask. "Hmm. Let me think about it." she says, before pulling me to her. "I'm gonna take that as a no." I say. I carefully climb on top of her, not applying to much of my weight on her. I kiss her lips, jawline, and neck.
