B POV
I woke up next to jughead in a different bed. My headache was gone, finally. I try to sit up, but dizziness takes over. I lay back on the pillows and wait for it to go away. I look over and jughead was still asleep. I try to sit up as slowly as possible. I try to stand, but fall back on the bed, landing on jughead. Great, just GREAT! He stirs a bit but doesn't wake all the way, or so I thought. I try to get up again, but can't. I get so dizzy, I throw up. I apply pressure to my head, trying to get the pain to go away. "Betty, you ok?" I hear. "I'm fine. Go back to sleep." I reply. "No. You're not." he says. "Then Why did you ask?" I reply sarcastically. "I want to help, but you're just pushing me away." he says getting up. "When did that happen?" he points to the floor. "I'll clean it up." I say standing slowly. The headache subsided, and I went to the bathroom to get cleaning supplies.

J POV
She came back into the bedroom and started cleaning the throw up. I sigh and go make breakfast. After I'm about halfway through, she comes slowly down the stairs. I plate the food and set her plate on the coffee table. She sat on the couch, and her phone started to ring. She looked at it and turned it off with a sigh. "Who was it?" I ask. "No one important." she replies. She plays with the food on her plate, before setting it back on the coffee table, and getting up. Her phone rang again, and this time she answered.

B POV
B: hello?

?: Hey Betts. It's me. I got arrested for some stuff with the serpents.

B: why? What did you do?

?: penny tricked me and I got caught.

B: how long are you gonna be gone?

?: I don't know. A few months, to a couple of years.

B: but I need you. What did you do?

?: drug run gone bad. You're gonna be ok Betty. Jughead will take care of you.

B: you can't get the lawyer to get you out early. Fp, please. You're all I have left.

Fp: I know hun, and I'm so sorry.

B: I'll come see you when I can walk without puking.

Fp: no. You'll get caught and it will be even worse.

B: you get thrown in the slammer and I can't even see you?

Fp: it's for you're protection. Please don't come Betty. Penny will find you and kill you.

B: I have to go. I love you so much. Don't do anything stupid that will get you killed.

Fp: never Betts. I love you. Bye

It felt like my heart just got ripped out of my chest. I dropped the phone and ran, not caring about jughead yelling or the raging headache. I ran until I couldn't breathe. I found somewhere in the woods near a stream, and cried. He was all I had left, now he's in jail, and I can't see him.

J POV
I ran after Betty, and found her crying near the stream. I drop next to her and wrap my arms around her. "You're ok. Shhhh." I coo. "It's not ok. He's gone and I don't know when he's coming back. He's all I had left." she sobs. "You're gonna get through this. I'll help you every step of the way." I say. She sobs into my chest. Serpents have a soft underbelly, and hers is her family.

B POV
I woke up and looked around the room. Jughead wasn't in here, but I was in his room. I found a change of clothes and went to take a shower. After about 45 minutes, I got out and got dressed. My headache wasn't particularly bad today, and I could actually walk some without having to ythrow up. Thank god. I can go back to my house, but they wouldn't just let me go. I sigh and head downstairs. "I got you a new phone." Jughead says from the kitchen. "Thanks." I say, but I won't be needing it. "Where's my bike?" I ask. "It's at your garage." he replies. "I need to work on it." I say. "No. You can still barely walk straight." he says, making me huff. "Why does everyone treat me like a baby when something bad happens. I can take care of myself. I've been doing it for years." I utter under my breath.

J POV
Betty looked pretty mad and she was saying something under her breath, but I couldn't understand her. "How about I call Toni and JB to come and talk for a while?" I suggest. "No. I just want to be left alone." she replies and walks out the door. I take the food off the burner and chase after her. I found her by the field, with her knees to her chest, watching the wind blow the grass around. "What's wrong?" I ask from behind her. "Nothing. Go back in you're house. If you want to call your sisters, call them." she replies. "That's not an answer Betty." I reply. "Yea. It's my answer. Go away." she says. Fp said she would try and push people away. "I'm not going anywhere." I say. "Fp and the serpents are the only true people in my life. I just want to be alone right now if you don't mind." she says. "I do mind." I reply sitting next to her. She tries to get up, but I pull her to my lap. "Let go of me!" she yells. I hold her tightly to my chest, as she slowly starts to calm down.

B POV
He just doesn't know how to take a hint. I want to be left alone and he yanks me to his lap. I pretend to sleep, and he carries me to a bed. When I hear the door shut, I open my eyes and make sure he's not in here. I lock the door, and watch something on the tv. I find my bag that was on my bike and look through it. I found some clothes and change into them. I find my serpent jacket and shrug it on. I unlock the door and find jughead. "Take me to the bar. I want to go home." I say. "You don-" I cut him off. "I said I want to go home." I raise my voice a little. He sighed and carried my bag to his car. I got in the passenger seat and looked out the window the entire ride.

We pulled up at the bar, and I grabbed my bag, slinging it over my shoulder. "Thanks for everything. Bye Jones." I say walking into the bar without a reply.

J POV
I went in after her, but she was no where to be seen. I spotted Toni, and headed towards her. "Why haven't you been at your house?" she asks. "Fp didn't tell you?" I ask. "I know that Betty got into a crash. Explain." she replies. "I was taking care of her, but she wanted to come home." I say. "Jug. She didn't need to come back to the apartment above the bar. She didn't need to go to that trailer either. She needs Fp, but as you can tell, he's not here right now." she says with a sigh. "I know. He got arrested." I say. I see Betty walking down the stairs, in a pink sweater and white skinny jeans. "Bye Toni. I have to go explain why I haven't been here for a couple of weeks, to the northsiders." she says and walks out the bar. "What did you do to her?" she asks.
