B POV
I woke up with Jughead's arms around me, and for the first time, I felt safe. I carefully got out of bed without waking him, and made breakfast. Just before I plate the food, I feel hands on my waist. "Jug." I say. "Yes Betts." he says. I could tell he was smirking. I roll my eyes and take the food to the table. I start to eat, but jughead picks me up. "What are you doing?" I ask. "Nothing. How 'bout you?" he says. I slap his chest and he sets me on the couch. "I was trying to eat. If you don't mind, I'm going back to the table." I say standing, but quickly sit back down. I hold my head tightly. "What wrong?" but it's too fuzzy to hear.

J POV
Betty had her eyes squeezed shut and her head in her hands. I kneel in front of her trying to get an answer, but she wouldn't speak. "Betty." I say softly. I hear her gasp and she takes deep breaths. "I'm fine Juggie." she barely manages to get out. "You need to rest." I say, but she didn't move. "Can you walk?" I ask. "No." she whispers. I gently pick her up and she clings to me. "I got you." I whisper to her. I set her on the bed and she looks up at me. "Why are you so nice to me?" she asks. Before I could answer, there was a knock on the door.

B POV
Jughead went to answer the door, and didn't come back. I got up, and saw him, sweet pea, fangs, and Toni in a heated argument. "No! She needs to stay here, where she can fully recover!" one says. My head starts to hurt and I hold it on both sides. "Shut up." I say, but they don't hear. I repeat a little louder, but they still can't hear me. "SHUT UP!" I yell. They all turn and look at me. "Go back to bed." I hear Jughead's fuzzy voice say. "No." I say. I slowly take my hands off my head. "You ok Betty?" one asks. "I'm fine." I say. I head to the kitchen and get a glass of water. I take a pain killer and lean against the cabinet, with my head thrown back, and eyes closed.

J POV
"Why are y'all here?" I ask. "We came to check on Betty. She shouldn't be here above a bar. She will drink and get an even worse condition." Sweet pea says. "I'm here taking care of her." I say. "She needs more than one person to take care of her. She is spiraling with everything. Fp won't let her come see him. She got into a crash. She is stressed to the point where she is going to snap." Fangs says. "I don't remember seeing any of you trying to stop her from stepping down and running away." I say annoyed. "That's why she tried to step down, so she could leave us?" Toni says. "Yes. She has had enough stress within a month to last a life time." I say. Toni runs in the apartment slamming and locking the door behind her.

T POV
"You were just gonna leave us? Do we not matter to you?" I ask, furious. "What are you talking about?" She asks. "You tried to step down so you could run away!" I scream. "I needed some time and space. Sorry that I was so stressed out about everything. Sorry that I didn't care enough to stay. Sorry I didn't end it the first time!" she yells. "End what?" I ask. She remains quiet, glaring at me. "END. WHAT." I yell. "MY LIFE. IM SORRY THAT I CAUSED YOU SO MUCH PAIN FROM ME BEING IN PAIN FOR ALL THESE YEARS!" she yells and runs to a different room, locking the door. I was taken aback. She never told me. I just made it worse. I knew she cut herself to feel something, but she wouldn't do it to end her life. I felt tears run down my cheeks as I try to get the door to open. "Betty! Please! Open the door!" I say. "No! I'm not going to be yelled at anymore! I'm sick and tired of being yelled at by everyone. I know I'm not good enough. Jughead should have just let me leave." she says. I bang on the door. "You can't leave us! Please!" I was full blown crying.

B POV
I grabbed my bag and slipped out the window. I ran down to the garage and strapped my bag down. I hop on my bike and start the engine. I get out the door, but am blocked by most of the serpents. "Move!" I scowl at them. They flinch and step back a little, but not by much. I scan the crowd, looking for an opening. Once I found one, I flew towards it and everyone moved. They knew I would run them over if they didn't.

J POV
Toni came out of the apartment crying. "She leaving Jug! We have to stop her!" she sobs. We run downstairs and rally the serpents to block her in, but she gets away. "What happened between you two?" I ask Toni. "I. I don't want to talk about." she says quietly. I hug her tightly and Fp walks in. "I thought you were in prison?" I say. "I got out on good behavior." he smirks and looks around. "Where's Betty?" he asks, making Toni burst out in more tears. "She left didn't she?" he says. All Toni did was nod. "You got something out of her, something that she wouldn't tell anyone, and I'm gonna have to say that it has something to do with her trying to kill herself." he says. "What?" I say, so lost and confused.
