FP POV
Fp: Betts. What's wrong?

B: she's coming!

Fp: I'm on my way!

B: hurry!

"I have to leave I don't know when I'll be back." I say, "tell the others." I hop in the truck and race to Betty's house. I drive her to the hospital.

B POV
After 8 excruciating hours, I am now holding Scarlett Rose Cooper. I kiss her head and breastfeed her while Fp steps out for coffee. She finishes eating and I burp her. I hear a knock on the door and Toni, sweet pea, and fangs pop in. "Hey!" I exclaim. "Is. Is that my niece?" Toni sobs when I nod. "You want to hold her?" I ask. "Of course!" she says. They pass her around and she lands with Fp. I'm glad I have him as a father and she gets him as a grandpa. I smile at them and the others leave.

J POV
I saw Toni, fangs, and sweet pea all walk in smiling and laughing. JB runs up to her. "Is she here?" she asks. "Yea! She's so cute!" Fangs says. JB squeals and runs out the door. "Where is she going?" I ask. "A friends house." Sweet pea says. "You act like I'm blind and deaf. Where is she really going?" I ask. "Do we tell him?" Fangs whispers to them. "Hold on let me ask her." Toni says. After a few minutes she came back. "She said she doesn't care." Toni says. "Will you just tell me already." I growl. "We're not gonna tell you if you're gonna act like that. She deserves at least a little decency from you." fangs says. "Please tell me." I say calmly. "Betty had her baby." Sweet pea says. "What? She wasn't pregnant." I say. "Don't believe us, here." Toni says, shoving her phone in my face. It's a picture of Betty laying in a hospital bed with Fp next to her holding a baby. "Why didn't she tell me?" I ask. "Probably because you were to stubborn, blind, and a jerk for her to care. She has her, and I don't want you to mess with my nieces life." Toni says. "She's mine and Betty didn't tell me?" I ask. "Yes jughead, Betty isn't a slut. She left for that little angel. She wanted a better life than gangs and drugs for that sweet little girl. We were all to selfish to let her go." Fangs says. "She could've just said that." I say hoarsely. "No she couldn't have. If you go see her, I don't want a speck of anger from you. Got it? You're not ruining either of their lives again." Toni says and I nod quickly.

B POV
JB walked into my room and started bawling. "Awe! My little niece!" she says. "Come here and I'll let you hold her." I say. She walks closer and I hand her to JB. "She has his eyes." she whispers. "I want you and Toni to be in her life, even if jughead does hate me. I'm not letting her get thrown into that gang. I want her life as normal as possible, but you and Toni deserve to be in her life. You guys did nothing wrong. I mean it's my fault for leaving. It's why he's mad at me, but he has a gang to lead and I have a daughter to raise and I'm not gonna let that get in our way." I smile. "I agree with you, but don't you want her to know her daddy?" she asks. "Yes, but I don't want her to get hurt. That's the only reason I left in the first place. A mother who ran a gang is not how I wanted to raise her. She deserves better than that. I left so she could be safe, and I was going to come back when she was a little older. I am ok with her going into the bar when she is older but not newborn." I say.

J POV
I knock on the door to Betty's room. JB opens it and before I could go in, she steps out and closes the door. "I want to see them." I say. "Not until I know you're completely calm." she says. "I have a daughter that I just learned about 5 minutes ago. You try to be completely calm." I snap. "That's what I mean. I don't want you going in there and having an outburst like that. She doesn't deserve that." she says. "You're right JB. Can I please go see them now?" I ask. She opens the door and walks in. She leans down to Betty and walks back out. "Hi." she says. "Hey." I say. I pull a chair up to the beside. "How are you feeling?" I ask. "I'm fine, a little sore but I'll live." she says.

B POV
"Sorry ms. Cooper, but you're daughter needs to go to the nursery." a nurse says. "Five more minutes and then she's all yours I promise." I plead. "Ok. Five minutes." she says. I notice jughead just staring at her in awe. "Do you want to hold her?" I ask. He nods rapidly and I set her in his arms. She fussed a little, but he calms her down. I smile at him bouncing her. "Why didn't you tell me?" he asks softly. "I was going to. The night I came back, but you were mad." I say quietly. "I'm sorry Betts. I shouldn't have gone off on you. Now I see why you're so wound up. It's very stressful to run a gang." he says with a chuckle. "I don't know if I'm going to lead, now that I have her." I say. "I want you to. You don't have to come back right away, but I wish you would at least come by every once in a while, please." he says. Scarlett starts to fuss some and he hands her to me, and I feed her. He sits in the chair next to my bed, and looks at his phone. "You ok?" I ask.

J POV
"Yea. Just sweet pea." I say. "He's a very needy person." she says with a giggle. She gets done feeding the baby and the nurse comes in. "Alright. Time for her to go to the nursery. Sorry sir, but visiting hours are almost over." she says. "Can he stay, please." Betty says. "Ok. Where did the other guy go?" she asks. "He had to take care of some things." Betty smiles. "Ok. Get some rest. You're probably very tired." the nurse says. She nods and the nurse leaves with my little girl. "I don't have to stay." I say. "I want you to. If I'm gonna go to the bar, then you have to stay here with me." she says. "Is that a deal?" I ask, arching an eyebrow. "Yep." she says. "Ok. I'll stay." I say and she pats the spot next to her. I get in when she scoots over some. "You never told me her name." I say. "It's Scarlett Rose." she says. "It's perfect. Goodnight love." I say, kissing her forehead. She leans into me and we fall asleep.
