B POV
I woke up tucked into Jughead's side. Scarlett came in, and I looked up at her. "Good morning." she crawls in the bed. "Good morning munchkin." I say sleepily. "What are we doing today?" she asks. "I don't know. There's a lot to do here." I say and she nods. "I wanna go back to the cafe. Katie is great!" she exclaims. I chuckle and Jughead's grip tightens on me. I look up at him and kiss his cheek. "Good morning." I whisper. "I'm gonna go get  in my bed." Scarlett says. She gets up and leaves, and I look up at jughead. "Juggie." I say. "Hmm." he murmurs. I kiss him and rest my head on his chest. "What would you like for breakfast?" he asks. "I don't care." I reply. "You sure? I can make you whatever you want." he says, and I chuckle. "I'm sure. You can let Scarlett decide." I say, "but she has told me she wants to go to Katie's again." He grins at me. "Probably wants to hear more stories about you." I slap his chest lightly.

S POV
We got to the diner, and we order our food. Katie sits next to mom and I grin at dad. "Stop it." Mom points at me. "What am I doing?" I ask innocently. "You know exactly what your doing." she says and Katie rubs her arm. "Do you have anymore stories of mom?" I grin. "I have stories from when she first came here, and to when she left after that ghoulies incident." she says. I look over at mom and she was shifting uncomfortably. "I know you don't like talking about it." she tells mom. She nods and leans back against the booth, closing her eyes. "Mom? Are you ok?" I ask. "I'm fine, just........trying to get that out of my head." she says, "you can tell them what you want. I don't care." Katie nods and tells us a few things and then she reaches to when mom talked  about me. "She would talk about the way you looked, How she wished that she stayed with you, and many other things." she says and I smile. Mom opens her eyes and look back and forth at me and dad. She wanted to stay, but she had to work through some stuff.

J POV
Katie gets up and heads behind the counter. "You really felt that way?" Scarlett asks. "I still feel that way." she says. I smile at her and she smiles  back. "Ok. Get done eating. Were gonna head home after while." she says.

We get in the car and I drive home. I look over and Betty was asleep. I chuckle, and check on Scarlett. She was staring out the window. She looks up at me and grins. "You like the view?" I ask. "It's beautiful." She exclaims, "How come you've never been to New York?" "I have been. A long time ago." I say. Her eyes widen. "Really?" she says. "Yep." I pop the p. "Why?" she asks. "I went to look for your mom, but I never found her." I say. "Oh." she says quietly. I hear Betty take in a deep breath, and I know she's listening. "Are we almost home?" she asks. "Not yet." I say. "Can we at least turn the music up?" she whines. "No. Your mom is asleep." I say. "But she will sleep the entire time." she whines. "Turn the radio up. I'm awake." Betty says, turning to face me. I turn it up some and Betty starts to sing along.

S POV
Moms voice is amazing. I wonder why she never sings. The song finishes and she looks out the window. "Do you ever look at your surroundings when you drive your bike up there?" I ask. "Not usually. It's hard to concentrate on so many things at once, so I never really looked." she says. "How come you never sing in front of people? You have an amazing voice." I say. "Alice and Hal." was all she said. I look out the window and hum to the song.
I guess moms favorite song came on, because she started singing again. I smile and she starts laughing. "Jug. You missed the turn." she laughs. He glares at her and turns the car around.

B POV
We get home and get the bags unpacked. I go make supper and we sit at the table to eat. "Thank you." Scarlett sets her plate in the sink and heads to her room. "And then there were two." Jughead says. "Technically, it's three but I'll give it to ya." I giggle. We finish eating and get in bed. We watch some movies and I fall asleep.

I got Scarlett up and we got ready for school. We get on the bike and I drive to southside high. I get in my classroom and get everything together. My first class comes in and I hand out the lesson. I sit at the desk and read. By the time it was Scarlett's class, I was tired and my back hurt. I got one of the students to pass the papers out and I closed my eyes. I felt a hand on mine, and I barely opened my eyes. "Scarlett?" I ask. "Do I need to call dad?" she asks. "No. He's busy." I say. "You know he would drop everything for you." she says. "Yea, But he needs to get some work done." I say. "Do you want me to call fangs?" she asks and I nod.

S POV
I got my phone and dialed fangs number.

F: Scarlett? What's wrong?

S: mom doesn't feel good and she wouldn't let me call dad.

F: I'll be there in a little bit.

I hang up and sit on her desk, watching her. Fangs walks in with a concerned look. He kneels in front of her. "Hey. How ya feeling?" he asks. "Everything hurts. It's worse than when I was riding for a week." she has tears in her eyes. "I brought my car. Do you want me to take you home?" he asks. "No. I have to get through with the classes." she replies. "Betts. You need a break." he says softly. "I had a break. I have to work." she says. "Mom. You don't feel good. Take the rest of today off." I say. "I can't." she says. "I will carry you to my car, and I know you hate being carried." he stands. "I have to get work done." she turns her chair to the desk. "Don't make me call the king." he warns. "I told you not to bother him." she glares at him. "Then I guess that I'm gonna carry you." he says. "No." she turns the chair, and tries to stand, but falls back in the chair. It rolls, making her yelp, but fangs stops it. She rest her head in her hands, and I could see that she was shaking.
