B POV
Someone comes in around 2 in the morning. I hear them moving around. I crack an eye open and shoot up from my position when I see who it is. "Jesus guys. Are you trying to give me a heart attack?" I scowl at them. "Sorry queen. We were just wondering where the king was, and we found him." Mustang says. "You could have called." I scoff. "Again. Sorry. Are you going to move back to the south side, start with the serpents again?" one asks. "Not right now. I want to take care of my daughter for a little while, but I will check in on things, I promise." I say and they all smile. "When are we gonna meet her?" Mustang asks. "You came at 2 in the morning. I don't know when they are gonna bring her back in." I say, "you might have to wait until I get out of the hospital. Sorry." "It's ok queen." he says, "we will leave you since we found the king. Please get some sleep." I nod and they file out of the room. "Betts?" I hear. "Hmmm." I say, turning to look at him. "Lay back down. It's to early." he says. I chuckle and lean back.

J POV
I came back with a cup of coffee and Betty was feeding Scarlett. "Hi baby. Awe. You are so so so cute. I should've stayed and you could live on the south side like mommy did. Instead I had to mess things up with daddy, and I ran before you were born. I did meet a new friend. She said she is gonna be your auntie." I hear Betty say in a baby voice. "Hey Betts." I say. She looks up and smiles at me. "Did you hear the serpents this morning." she asks. "Yea. How could I not. I guess I'm gonna have to start a don't bother us during the night rule." I say with a chuckle. She finishes with Scarlett and hands her to me. "I also heard your little conversation with Scarlett. You didn't mess things up. You left because you wanted a better life for her. I'm sorry I didn't listen to you when you came back." I say. "It's not your fault. After I made the deal with Malachi, the doctor called. I had a panic attack because I didn't want to be that mother who decided between a gang and her own child." she says. "Hey. We all have our moments." I say. I sit next to her and the doctor comes in. "Ok. You're all good to go home." he says. "Thank you." she says. "Is Fp going to come get you, or do you need a ride?" I ask.

B POV
"Did you bring your car?" I ask and he nods. "Ok. I want to go to the bar, though. It's probably not a good idea, but I want to see everyone." I say. "We can go to the bar." he says, kissing my forehead. I get up and change into a hoodie and some shorts. I get my bag together and grab her car seat. "Ready?" he asks. "As soon as you set her in there and buckle her in. I just have to get her diaper bag." I say. He sets her in the car seat and I grab the diaper bag. We head out to his car and buckle the seat in. "You gonna sit back there with her?" he asks. "Yea. I want to be able to get to her if she cries." I say.

J POV
We pull up at the bar, and Betty unbuckles the car seat. I grab the diaper bag, and we head in. "Betty!" I hear JB and Toni squeal. She shushes them and everyone goes silent. "I really don't want to wake her." she says. "Awe. You brought her." Mustang says. "Yea." I say and Betty sets her car seat on a table and they gather around her. Everyone gushes over her and Betty spots Fp. "You got her?" she asks. "Yea." I say. She walks over to him and they go up to my office.

FP POV
"Why didn't you call? I would've brought you." I say. "Jughead was already there. He's been really sweet. It's like Scarlett is exactly what he needed." she says with a smile. "Are you gonna get back together with him?" I ask. "I don't know. I love him. I really do, but I live on the northside with a daughter now." she says. "I know. It's complicated right now. Everything will sort itself out soon. I know he loves you, he just won't show it." I say. "I hope it sorts out soon. I don't know how much longer I can handle living on the northside, but I will. For her." she says. There is a knock on the door. "Come in!" She says. Jughead walks in with Scarlett. "I will leave you two alone." I say and Betty nods. They are denying their feelings for each other. If they want to make this work, they need to sort everything through.

B POV
"Hey Jug." I say. "I believe she is hungry, and I am of no use in that area." he says. I chuckle and take her from him. He locks the door and I start to feed her. Once she finishes, I burp her and bounce her. "So......" I say. "So. How are things on the northside?" he asks. "It's ok. It's not the south side, but I guess it's decent." I shrug. "You could always move back to the south side." he says, moving closer. "I know, I just want to settle for the moment, get used to the fact that I have Scarlett now." I say. "Yea. I guess you're right." he says. I set her gently back in the car seat and notice how close he is. "Jug." I breathe. "Betts." he says. "I love you Juggie." I whisper before kissing him. "I love you too Betts." he puts our foreheads together. There's another knock on the door. "Who is it?" I ask. "JB, Toni, fangs and sweet pea." one of them says. "I guess we have to open the door." I say. He goes to open the door and I rock the car seat. "Hey. We were wondering where you're staying tonight. We don't want you to be alone." Toni says. "I'm staying at my house on the northside. I'll be fine." I say. "Betty-" fangs starts. "I said I'll be fine. Nothing happens on the northside." I say. "At least have jughead with you." JB says.  I look up at him and back to them. "If I take him with me, will you stop pestering me?" I ask and they all nod. "Fine. Go away." I say and they laugh, heading down to the bar. "I don't have to come with you Betts." he says. "I want you to. It will be easier with you there." I say and he nods. "Are you ready to go now, or do you want to talk to some people for a little while?" he asks. "I'm ready to go now." I say. We get Scarlett and her bag in Jughead's car, and go to the northside. It makes my skin crawl, but I will bear through it, for her and only her. When she's older, we'll move to the south side. "I honestly don't know why I got a house on the northside. The place makes my skin crawl." I shiver. "We can go to my house for the night if you want." he says. "All of her things are here. Plus, we're almost there." I say with a sigh. He rests his hand on my thigh.
