Tinadtad ko ng text at tawag si Carter pero ni isa wala siyang pinansin. He wants it to be done under his terms and I understand why.
Siya ang kasama ko habang nilalampasan ang pinakamadidilim na sandali ng aking buhay.

Pero ngayong nawawalan na ako ng pag-asa ay nagiging madalas ang pag-balik ng mga alaala. I even black out sometimes.
Kaya naiintindahan ko ang gusto niyang gawin namin ngayon. He wants me to take a break and breathe..na hindi ko naman kaya dahil ayaw mawala sa isip ko ng mga sinabi niya.

After two freaking years of interrogating so many men with a name Red, finally..he found the real one. Well..I just need to be sure.
After what I learned from Carter, I can't just stay in my office and do nothing. Mababaliw lang ako sa kakaisip. Kaya naman ay bumalik na lang ako sa opisina ko sa VALEJO Shipping lines at tinapos ang naiwang trabaho habang hinihintay si Carter. Nagawa ko pang umattend ng isang board meeting.
I handled our business after I was left alone. I did it while hunting for the guy named Red. In my hands, our business wasn't as good as before but I don't really care about it now. Mas importante para sakin ang ginagawa ko sa likod ng negosyo.
Pinapanatili ko nalang iyong buhay para kay Mama..and Papa. And of course to pay my men who's working for me now. Anyway, Papa left us with a big amount of riches. I think he's really prepared in case something happens...and I think that he knew that something bad was going to happen. Dahil sa iniwan niya, halos hindi ko na kailangang mag-trabaho pa para mabuhay.
I bet he got that big amount of money from the monkey business that ended his life. But the funny thing is, ginagamit ko rin iyong pera na iyon para tapusin ang taong nag-bigay noon kay Papa.
Mabilis kong dinampot ang cellphone ko nang tumunog ito. Text iyon ni Carter at hindi ako mapakali habang binubuksan ito.

Napairap ako.
Mabilis akong tumayo mula sa aking swivel chair at dinampot ang aking pouch. My stilettos created a sound as I walked my way out of my office.
"Kim, I need to go. Any papers that needs my sign or approvals, just leave it on my table." Sambit ko sa aking sekretarya pag-labas ko ng aking opisina.
"Yes, ma'am Ria." She answered politely.
Agad sumunod sakin si Jinx at Ced, my two personal bodyguards. Dumiretcho kami sa baba at nakahanda na doon ang aking itim na mercedes-benz. Pinag-buksan ako ng pinto ni Jinx at tipid ko siyang nginitian dahil doon.
Tiningnan ko ang oras sa aking phone at nakitang alas sinco na ng hapon. Ang Royalè Luxury Hotel ay nasa Makati habang ang opisina ko sa VSL ay nasa Roxas Boulevard (near the ports). If the traffic won't kill me tonight, I'll make it on time.
Nang paandarin ni Jinx ang sasakyan ay mabilis kong tinipa ang numero ni Hades. Ilang ring lang ay sinagot na niya ito.
