Chapter 44: Upset

Jungkook paced around his room, thinking of things to try and somehow make sense of this without having to ask his parents anything. For now, he wanted to distance himself from the footage he collected a moment ago, even though it may hold his answers, but he just couldn't bear the feeling he got from watching himself being watched. Jungkook let out a heavy sigh as he looked to the clock. '3:48 am'. "shit.." He muttered, tiredly running his fingers through his hair. 'I just need some rest and I will figure it out in the morning.. they'll be home soon and wonder why I'm sleeping later than normal if I stay awake any longer.' Jungkook thought as he took off his shirt before slipping back into his bed, missing the feeling of Jimin next to him as he closed his eyes. Meanwhile, his parents were on the plane ride home, Mrs.Jeon took out her laptop to check Jungkooks room camera.

Nothing but black.

"Honey.. The camera's dead.." She hummed disappointedly, she then checked the living room camera. She didn't care much to see the day that they left, Jungkook probably just slept all day. Little did she know, Jungkook had a bit of touch time with Jimin. Once she got to the night of the party, she fast-forwarded, not paying attention to the people in the crowd. Jimins tiny self, of course, being hidden as only Jungkook and Taehyung were locked into her vision. She chuckled at the sight of her son drinking. 

"He better have our shelves restocked by the time we are home" Mr.Jeon spoke up before closing his eyes once more. She nodded then closed her laptop, shuffling to lay her head on her husband's shoulder to take a small nap for the remainder of the plane ride.

The next morning Jungkook woke up to the sound of clinking plates in the kitchen, he immediately jumped out of his bed, hiding his computer before he raced out of his room to follow the noise. Jungkook stopped once he saw Jimin doing the dishes by the sink, his parents in the living room with their bags. since there was a wall between the kitchen and the living room Jungkook quietly moved towards Jimin so his parents couldn't notice and wrapped his arm around Jimins waist causing a small gasp to escape from the smallers lips. "shhh..its just me baby.." Jungkook assured the younger as he gently pressed a kiss onto Jimins cheek before releasing him and heading into the living room to greet his parents. "welcome home.." he spoke tiredly as his father dusted himself off as he stood up, his wife had fallen asleep on the couch from jet lag.

"Hello, son." Mr. Jeon replied, "eh em. I have a few errands you need to run for me." he claimed as Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows.

"um- alright? why can't you do it?" Jungkook replied, crossing his arms. Pretty much done with his parents shit.

"because I have to replace the- I mean I have some business to take care of. You will do what I say." He spoke in a demanding tone as he took out a sheet of paper to write the things Jungkook needed to go do. Jungkook only smirked at his father's words, he knew exactly what he had to do, it involved the camera of course.Mr. Jeon then handed his son a list of things he needed to to. 'wash the car. buy a birthday cake. buy non-seedless apples. buy batteries. buy sleeping pills.' the list read as Jungkook suspiciously stared at the list. "now go." 

"lemme change first damn." Jungkook bitterly scoffed as his father only shook his head at the boy. The older then turned to walk back to his room, obviously annoyed. Jimin saw his angry lover leave and he only felt his heart hurt a bit at the sight, the smaller boy was finished with his chore and snuck into Jungkooks room to see the other putting on a shirt before sitting on the bed holding his head in his hands as he pulled on his hair, not noticing Jimin yet. "fucking bastard.." Jungkook muttered.

"J-Jungkookie.." Jimin whispered as Jungkook looked up, the olders eyes were glassy but now wide from seeing Jimin by the door looking down worried. "J-Jungkookie..w-what's wrong?.." Jimin muttered slowly walking to his stressed boyfriend, stopping in front of him. 

Jungkook moved to his knees in front of the younger, wrapping his arms around Jimins hips as he nuzzled his face into Jimins torso, "baby..what are you doing in here?.. you could get in so much trouble.." he spoke softly as Jimin gently caressed Jungkooks messy brown hair.

"y-you..you looked u-upset.. a-and I got worried a-and-"

"shhh its okay.. I'm okay.. I'm glad you're here.." he whispered softly, standing up now to place a soft kiss on the youngers lips making a pink tint begin to creep onto Jimins cheeks. Jungkook honestly felt a bit better now from the smallers presence, it was calming.

"I-I love you~.." Jimin smiled, now nuzzling his face into Jungkooks chest as Jungkook held Jimin in his arms.

"I love you too, Jimin~" He replied, admiring the beautiful boy below him, absolutely whipped. "unfortunately I have to go run some errands for father, try to stay in your room until I get back okay?? make sure mother and father don't see your phone, text me if absolutely necessary okay?" 

"o-okay" Jimin nodded, looking up at the other.

"Alright, I have to go. I'll try and be home as soon as I can." Jungkook spoke before placing a soft kiss on Jimins forehead.
