"Hey sweety~ I have great news! your father and I are coming home early!" She spoke joyfully into the phone as Jungkook froze at that moment, his brain going blank, he couldn't think, he didn't know what to think. His time with Jimin coming to an end, earlier than expected. Jungkook at least thought he would get 3 more days with Jimin, seeing as it was Thursday and his parents were supposed to be returning on Monday of next week, this change of plans suddenly had him panicking.
The call grew silent for a moment, "Hello? Jungkook are you there?" She questioned causing Jungkook to snap back into reality, Jimin looked up with a worried expression seeing Jungkook suddenly act this way. Jungkook used his free hand to gently cup the side of Jimins face as he let out a quiet sigh.
"Y-Yes I'm here.. sorry, I'm just.. tired" Jungkook lied as he caressed his lover's cheek, "so tomorrow?"
"yes! can you toss Jimin his food for the night please, make sure the house is clean before we return. alright, I must go, stay safe. Love you~" She spoke, ending the call after Jungkook said 'love you too'.
Jungkook exhaled deeply as he slid his phone back into his pocket while he just kept his eyes on Jimin now, "W-Whats wrong?.." Jimin asked, sensing something was wrong my Jungkooks mood change.
The older looked down at Jimin, holding a sad expression, "mother and father are returning sooner than we thought.. tomorrow actually.." he informed the younger. Jimin soon shared the same feeling as Jungkook as they sat in silence for a moment. Jungkook the wrapped his arms around Jimin bringing him into a close hug. "things are gonna be different this time.. you don't have to worry.." Jungkook assured Jimin, pressing a kiss on the youngers forehead. "come on.. let's go eat, baby"
Jimin nodded as Jungkook took hold of Jimins thighs, straddling them around his hips as he got up from the bed and exited his room to go and walk to the kitchen for some food. Once they entered the kitchen, Jungkook gently placed Jimin onto the counter before heading to the cabinet to grab some mac and cheese to make on the stove for them to eat dinner. He pulled out what he needed to make it, setting the pot that was now full of water onto the hot stove and waited for it to boil as Jimin swung his legs a bit from his spot on the counter. An Idea popped into Jungkooks mind as he pulled out his headphones from his back pocket, he then connected it to his device through the headphone jack and picked a song on his playlist for Jimin to listen to. (the song thats playing in your ears rn if you clicked play on the thingy up there) "Here, put these in your ears and listen while I make the food~" Jungkookspoke as Jimin nodded, placing the headphones into his ears. A small smile forming on Jimins lips as he swayed to the guitar strumming, this beautiful sound making his heart feel all warm and squishy.
As Jungkook mixed the now cooked noodles with the cheese mix thing he could hear Jimin humming the tune, it only made the older smile softly. He finished making the meal and set two bowls to pour in the mac and cheese before giving a bowl to Jimin along with a spoon to eat it with. Jungkook then took out one of the headphones and placed it in his own ear so he could enjoy the music with him. "s-so w-what this food?" Jimin asked curiously as he moved around this new consistency with his spoon.
"Its called Macaroni and Cheese, or the short term for it is Mac and Cheese" Jungkook chuckled, taking a bite of his food, "try it~" Jimin nodded, scooping a bit onto his spoon before placing it in his mouth, the smaller boy only burst into giggles. "what's so funny?~" Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows after taking another bite.
"J-Jungkookie~ a-all these foods are s-so good~" he laughed softly, Jungkook only snorted at Jimins words.
"You're so cute." Jungkook chuckled, the two both stayed in the kitchen eating their food and enjoying the music. As they spent that time together, Jungkook made sure to hire their usual maid to help him clean up the house and texted Taehyung to hurry and bring the alcohol he needed to replace tonight. After they finished their dinner the two Just sat and swayed to the music together, Jungkook had his arms wrapped around Jimins waist, his body resting in between Jimins legs while their foreheads were pressed together. They're eyes slowly locked making Jimin blush and look off shyly, breaking the eye contact as Jungkook only used his index finger to lift the boys chin up, connecting their lips. Jungkook smiled into the kiss, starting a slow rhythm with his movements. Jimin did his best to keep up, keeping his hands placed in his lap as he blushed into the soft kiss, feeling Jungkooks tongue teasingly swipe across his plump bottom lip from time to time. The two constantly let out soft giggles while they locked lips as they continued their sharing of affection, spending their last moments close like this for the time they had left.
"I-I love you~" Jimin whispered softly as he pulled away for a moment, slightly out of breath as he held a red tint on his cheeks. "also y-you taste l-like Mac and Cheese~" Jimin giggled that last part making Jungkook let out a laugh.
"I love you too, baby~"
