Vader:Retelling Of History

A Simple Intro

Darth Vader was in his room, sitting in the private meditation chamber he had just made himself almost a week ago. There, he was studying hard on the lore of the dark side, mainly some of its power and its most famous Sith Lords such as Darth Malgus, a being so dominated by his rage that his eyes were the very color of his blade. He took quite an interest in Malgus due to the fact that he managed to live the life that he did even with his cybernetics, things he earned after many years of war. However, the one that became his all time favorite Sith Lord was Darth Revan. He was a prominent Jedi knight who fought in the Mandolrian war with his ally Alek despite the council forbidding all involvement in the conflict. Sadly, the dark emperor Vitiate, whom tried to conquer the galaxy, had brainwashed the heroic duo and turned them into slaves, renaming them Darth Revan and Darth Malek. Thankfully, in the end, Bastila Shan, a Jedi knight, managed to turn him back to the light and help bring forth the end of the emperor and the Sith empire at that time. Vader admired Revan because of the similar pain they felt, as well as their distrust towards the Jedi and the need to change the galaxy. Savor, conqueror, hero, villain, Revan was many of those things. Vader, however, saw Revan was a man twisted by both the Jedi and the Sith, of the past of course. As he continued reading and learning, he came across a Sith Lord named Momin. He read about him and learned he was an architect whom valued his work, possibly even more then his duties as a Sith. Vader was secretly saddened and angered when he learned about the suffering he went through at the hands of the Jedi and the Sith as the Jedi criticized his work for they viewed it as dark side propaganda and the Sith had distaste for him due to his inactiveness in his Sith duties. He was glad Momin didn't bend to their wills as he continued what he loved. After deciding to put the book down and try to work on his lightsaber skills, he got a transmission from a comlink he had near his helmet from Sidious that played the minute Vader exited his chamber.
Sidious:Vader.
Vader:Sidious.
Sidious:How goes your studies?
Vader:I'm learning much. Is there something you request?
Sidious:Only for you to come to my office when you are able.
Vader:Understood.
Just as Vader said that, the transmission ended. Vader then looked at his helmet as he picked it up. There, he opened it and put it on as it made its sealing noise. A scene later, we see Vader in front of the emperor.
Sidious:Its marvelous, isn't it?
Sidious said as he looked at Coruscant out his window.
Sidious:We managed to fulfill our dream. I know it happened five years ago, but we still managed to do it.
Sidious then turned to face Vader.
Sidious:Is there something on your mind?
Vader:No.
Sidious:Are you sure?
Sidious said with that look that said not to lie to him.
Vader:There is nothing on my mind. I'm perfectly fine, Sidious.
Sidious:Well, I hope so.
Vader:Is there anything you need?
Sidious:Well, I do wish for you to come with me. Bail organa and his younger sister Padme wish to speak with us. By the way, a young Stormtrooper will be joining us.
Vader:Tk-421, I presume?
Sidious:Yes. A very bright and courteous young man. Quite charming too, if I do say so myself.
Vader:He's also a hard worker, as well as one of the earliest in the imperial academy to graduate at age 16.
Sidious:It seems you value hard working, brave, and competent individuals in our empire, do you not?
Vader:That is exactly what I wish from those who work under us. Those who don't care about rising up the ranks and are focused on their jobs.
Sidious:Yes, it seems we had a few of those who didn't meet your standards.
Vader:Yes, and thankfully those numbers have decreased greatly.
Sidious:Thanks to you almost killing them on a few occasions.
Vader:I understand nobody is perfect, but there must be consequences for their behavior and their actions. I also want them to only do what I ask and be better when they make a mistake.
Sidious:Agreed. But, I feel you went a little far with choking them nearly to death.
Sidious stood up and put his hand on Vader's shoulder as the two walked towards the elevator.
Sidious:Vader, the dark side can give us many abilities that do give us great strength. But, if we fall too deep into this great power, we become the tools and the dark side our master. Think on that, my friend. My advice, plus the fact that I don't wish to rule over an empire of the dead.
The Sith emperor then took his hand off of his second in command as the duo entered the elevator. Then, the door shut.
