Where We Are Now

Starring at the wall of his castle, Vader was a total wreck. He was still and silent, depressed since it was the anniversary of his lover's death.
Thrawn:Vader, there's been an attack!
Vader turned abruptly to face the Grand Admiral sending the transmission to him.
Vader:What?!
Thrawn:You have to come to Kimmino! Right away!
Vader is now seen in an infirmary where he starred at TK-421, as he was injured by the attack at the station he was working at. Thrawn was seen right next to him and began conversing with him.
Thrawn:I'm concerned as well. TK-421 is one of our best soldiers and he almost died protecting his comrades.
Vader:What happened?
Thrawn:Trained assassins came to this base and attacked us, leading a few armed men with blasters as well.
We don't know who they are as most of them were killed in the cross fire and the last one ended his own life to avoid capture. We have no leads.
Vader:There's something I wish to speak with both of you about.
Thrawn:Of course. It will-
Before Thrawn could finish his sentence, Trevor was seen struggling to get up in his bed. The two opened the door to his room and Thrawn orders all those working in the room to leave them. After locking all windows and shutting all curtains, the three men began conversing.
Trevor:So, what's up?
Vader:The thing the two of you wished to show me. You spoke to me about it only a day before the attack.
Trevor:Ohh yeah, its on my table right there.
Vader picked it up almost immediately.
Thrawn:If you wish-
Vader:The two of you will stay here. No one comes in, no calls, and do not tell the emperor about this. Is that clear?
After a brief moment of silence, the two compiled.
Trevor:Whatever you say.
Thrawn:Crystal.
Vader:Good. Rest, 421. Thrawn, look after him.
Vader then left the room and made his way to his castle. At his castle, in the meditation room, he was having the tapes play out, not sitting in his chamber but rather standing. Vader was seeing Serra and Palpatine conversing about the great news she had for her love.
Palpatine:We have to keep this a secret from Anakin. We need him to help us win this war. I know it's hard but we can't have him distracted.
Serra:I know, but-
Palpatine:Serra, trust me when I tell you. Your child will be in danger. You have to do this.
Serra, after a moment of hesitation, and a tear rolling down her face, compiled.
Serra:Ok.
The armored Sith lord was shocked beyond words that his father figure was basically encouraging her to give their child up to keep her safe. That, however, was not important as he just learned that he was going to be a father. This conversation occurred during the last year of the Clone Wars. It was safe to assume that Serra have given birth to their child only a month before she died. The second tape showed Palpatine rewarding one of the men for taking out his target, something Vader realized all to well was his child. He then moved over to the third tape where he saw the unthinkable. In the background, he saw Palpatine manipulating the group of Sepratists to attack his mother and father. His mind was going wild as a montage plays of him seeing everything. He saw Sidious giving those slavers the coronets to where Anakin and his mother were hiding so that they can be captured and sold into slavery. Vader witnessed Sidious's assassins attacking the Jedi ship that arrived on Tatooine, where his mother died on that very same day. Vader then discovered that Sidious made sure his friends were killed by circumstances thought to be accidental;(Owen dying in that explosion and Kento being poisoned by a fruit that he accidentally ate). However, none of that compares to when he discovers Sidious hiring the group of assassins that were trying to kill the two people who were his actual friends and people who actually cared for him. After trying to process all of this information, Vader suddenly fell on his knees, letting out his horrified realization that the man who was essentially his father had warped and destroyed his life in the form of his sobs and his hands covering his mask. After his moment of despair ended a while later, Vader stood up, his mind now flooding with anger. He knew now that Sidious had basically used him and manipulated him for his own self gain. The room suddenly began to shake from Vader's rage. As the room was being destroyed, Vader starred at the wall he starred at previously. It now has cracks in it from the rage moment Vader had. Getting his materials, the ones valuable to him at the moment, out of his castle, Vader used the force to bring the castle crumbling down. In his TIE-Fighter, as he was traveling, a transmission came up from Thrawn.
Thrawn:I'm sorry, Vader.
Trevor:Me too.
Vader:Its not your fault. I just need to correct what I should have a long time ago.
Thrawn:If your looking for him, he's in this location. I'm sending you the coronets now.
Thrawn did as he said, the coronets appearing in front of Vader a minute later.
Vader:That's-
Thrawn:The Death Star, a weapon that's been in development for years. We just now found out about it.
Trevor:Just activate your stealth systems. And, try not to bring attention as it's loaded with security.
Vader:You don't need to worry. I know what I'm doing.
