Chapter Twenty-Three

Diana's POV

However, I was so very unprepared for what I saw. I just gasped and held my hand to my pink mouth...

I was in the middle of the woods and in front of me was an elegant white table with rose petals on top. Dozens of fairy lights lit the clearing and a gazebo sat above the table area. To the left of the gazebo was a white sofa with a gazebo over the top and to the right was a bed which also had a smaller gazebo draping over it. The sight was gorgeous and it was basically a really glamorous way of camping. In the sofa part there was one of my bags on the sofa. I walked over to check what was there. Inside it was my toothbrush and hairbrush, some bed shorts and a tank top, clean clothes and underwear, a jacket and my bikini. I looked puzzled but gasped when I felt someone slip their arms around my waist. "Do you like it?" The familiar voice breathed into my ear. I turned around to be facing my gorgeous boyfriend. "I love it Ni!" I beamed, wrapping my arms around his neck and sealing my excitement with a kiss. "On a scale of one to ten how is this for a start of us re-starting?" He asked me. "Eleven." I giggled. "I love when you giggle." He smiled. "Shall we go eat some fine dining food?" He suggested. I nodded and followed him over to the table area. Now plated up was a roast dinner.

"That was amazing!" I moaned with delight after placing my knife and fork back onto my now empty plate. "So you enjoyed it?" He asked me. "Yeah, why?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "I made it." He said, blushing slightly. "Aw Ni, that's so sweet." I cooed. "Lets go swimming." He said randomly. "Umm.." I said unsure. He tossed me my bag and pointed to a little white shed. I went over to the shed with my bag in my hand and locked the door once I was inside. I opened my bag and looked for my bikini. When I found it I took off my dress and underwear and changed into the bikini. Surprisingly for Ireland it was fairly warm outside so I just put my clothes into my bag and left the shed. When I went back over to the dining place I saw Niall sat on the sofa in his swimming trunks. "You ready?" He asked me. I nodded and placed my bag on the sofa as I passed it. Niall took my hand and lead me out to the lake that was right next to our little camp spot. "Ni what is this?" I asked as we reached the edge of the water. "Well there's been something I've been meaning to tell you for a while. You could've guessed it but it's really not that simple. I wanted to tell you this myself before you find out from someone else but next week me and the boys are going on tour." He said, he looked said at the end of the speech. "What?" I asked, shocked. "The boys are going to start our 'Take Me Home' tour and we have to leave next week. "But your albumm has just been released." I said. (A/N: I know I didn't write about it but the 'Take Me Home' album has already been released. I also know that the album wasn't really released in August but for this story it is.) "I know it has baby but management said we have to kick it off immediately so fans don't get bored of the album." He shrugged. "Once again, it's all about management. Don't worry about your girlfriend or family. No, just worry about management. Why don't you just marry management? Then you'll all be happy constantly." I sighed. "You know it's not like that Diana." He said, running a hand through his hair. "Whatever." I said, turning around and beginning to walk back to the 'glamp' site. "Di!" He called, grabbing my wrist and turning me to face him. "What?" I asked. "I love you. You know that right?" He asked me. I nodded slowly. "Then you know that I will talk to you everyday. Whether it be through Skype, FaceTime, phone call's or texting. I'll talk to you the whole time." He said. "When does this tour finish?" I asked. "Next August." He said sheepishly. "A whole year?" I asked. (A/N: I also know that the tour didn't start or end in August but it was a year long. So, for the purpose of this story it's from August 2012 to August 2013 :))

"Umm, yeah. A whole year." He sighed. "Ni, will we even last a whole year?" I asked. "I mean, just seeing each other through a webcam?" I added. "We'll get through it like everyone else has to. Anyone on some of the shows we're allowed to fly you out and you are allowed to stay for a while. We'll have breaks in-between." He said. "Okay." I said. "Okay. You're okay with this?" He asked, shocked. "Yes Niall. It's your job anyway. Where am I meant to stay while you're gone?" I asked. "You'll be staying with Dani and El in their flat in London." He said. I nodded. "I promise we will be okay." He said, cupping my cheek. "I love you." He whispered. "I love you more." I whispered back. "Very unlikely." He smirked. He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. I giggled as he ran towards the water but my giggled turned into screams as he dumped me into the cold water. "Nialllll!" I whined, shaking. "Aw, come 'ere baby." He cooed, swimming over to me and taking me in his arms. "I'm sorry for hurting you the times we did." He said, still holding me tightly. "I know. And I'm sorry for nearly dying on you. That was selfish." I said. "Hey, that wasn't your fault. Let's push that behind us. That was the past and right now I'm looking forward to a future. Our future." He smiled, his blue eyes shimmering in the moonlight. "Let's go get our pyjamas on and cuddle up in that big bed I had to cart out here." He suggested, lifting me up and carrying me out of the water.
