Diana's POV
Even though the arena was also in Mullingar it still took a half an hour drive to arrive. When we did arrive, Sarah parked the car and we got out and ran to the queue. Luckily for us we got here extra early and they had just started letting people in which meant there wasn't a huge queue. We were like the third pair to get into the arena. We bought some drinks and then went to go find our seats. We didn't get front row but that really didn't matter as we had VIP passes for before and after the show. "Everyone with VIP passes for before and after the show, can you please come to the left side of the stage please." A voice boomed on the intercom. I looked at Sarah and she grinned. She grabbed my hand and we made our way to the left side of the stage. "Huh, I wonder why there's no-one else here." I said to myself. "Nobody else bought VIP passes for before or after the show. I don't blame them, the boys are a handful. Look's like they're just meeting you two lasses." Paul Higgins said. Yes, THE Paul Higgins said. I smiled shyly at him and he grinned in return. "Well, if you'd like to follow me." He said, gesturing for us to follow him.
He lead us down hall after hall till we reached a room with 'One Direction' in the One Direction don't written on a door. Paul signalled for us to wait for one minute before he vanished into the room. "Yeah, I'll bring them in." He said, opening the door. "They're ready to see you." He said, smiling down at me and Sarah. Sarah's eyes widened, as did my own before we were practically pushed my Paul into the boys' dressing room. The door slammed shut behind us and Paul pushed us further into the room. My eyes widened in fear from me being pushed. "Could you quit pushing us?!" I said through gritted teeth. "Sorry about her, she's had a hard past and doesn't like to be touched my strangers." Sarah said for me. "You're sorry aren't you Diana." She egged me on. I rolled my eyes in response and walked alone further into the dressing room. When I looked up from my feet I saw five boys staring at me wide eyed. This made me extremely self conscious and also made me violently blush. "Err, hi?" I said, more like a question than a statement. The room was filled with a chorus of 'hi's' or hello's'. Niall looked into my eyes and grinned shyly. "Hey, you're beautiful." He said, still smiling. "Did anyone ever tell you that?" He asked, standing from his seat. Before I responded I looked over at Sarah who was in deep conversation with the other four boys. I returned my gaze to the blonde, Irish lad and shook my head lightly. "I don't believe you." He said. "Nobody has told me that other than Sarah." I said shyly, pointing to my mingling best friend. "I don't why someone wouldn't. Surely you've been in a relationship before?" He asked me. Like before, I shook my head. "How?" He asked, clearly shocked. "Nobody's loved me before." I said simply. "Sure your family has." He stated. I gulped hard. "Actually, my mother died when I was three years old." I said in my Irish accent. "I'm so sorry. But, what about your father?" He said, apologetically. "I'd rather not speak about him..." I said quietly. He nodded before leading me over to the other boys. "Lads, you're on in fifteen minutes. Girls, you're gonna have to go back to you seats." Paul said, walking into the room. We all nodded and I grabbed Sarah's hand and pulled her up off the dressing room floor. She giggled slightly. "Well, bye guys." I smiled before pulling Sarah away from Louis. "You're not going anywhere without a hug!" Niall spoke up. "I don't do hugs." I murmured before waving to the boys and walking out. "See you after the concert Sarah!" They called to her as she made her way ou off the dressing room to join me in the hall.
"Oh my gosh! That was! Ahhh!" She squealed, jumping up and down. "Yeah, quite the experience." I mumbled, glumly. "Sooo, what was going on between you and that Irish lad?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows. "Nothing. If I'm brutally honest he was being rather nosy and making me quite uncomfortable." I sighed. Sarah looked at me, gobsmacked. "First he said I was beautiful, then he kept asking me if I'd been in a relationship or if someone had ever called me beautiful besides you. Then he asked about my parents so I said my mum died when I was three and then he asked about my dad so I said I'd rather not talk about it. What a great way to meet your 'crush'." I groaned, using air quotes on 'crush'. "Oh quit moaning. He can make it up to you later. Right now we have a concert to attend." She said, grabbing my hand and pulling me down the halls. We ended up and the corner of the stage again so we made our way from there to our seats. We sat down and drank our new drinks as we waited for the boys to go on stage. I was bored out of my mind so I composed a new Tweet:
