Chapter Ten

We walked all the way back to the hotel. Hands entwined and in silence. The quietness was comfortable other than being awkward. When we reached the hotel we took the lift up to my floor. The doors 'dinged' and we exited the lift. I walked us up to my door. "Tonight was amazing thank you." I smiled, looking into his eyes. "There's always tomorrow." He smiled, leaning down and pecking my lips softly. We pulled away and smiled, saying goodbye before I entered my room.

However, I was not prepared for what I witnessed...

Diana's POV

When I entered the room I saw only two people. My best friend and Niall Horan. It wasn't the fact they were in my room that upset me...it was what they were doing...

They were sat on the sofa, lips attached. "Wow." I said, in awe. "You're an amazing best friend Sarah." I said, now hurt. They pulled away but before I met their gazes I turned and walked out the door. I slammed the door shut and slid down it. The stupid tears left my eyes and flooded my face.

I couldn't self harm again. I wouldn't. I promised myself and I broke it once. I won't do it again. Instead of telling one of the boys I ran down to the lobby and banged on the reception desk. "There's someone who works here called Dylan?" I asked the receptionist. "Yeah, why do you need him?" She asked me. "What floor is he on?" I asked through tears. "The fifth floor, room eleven." She said. I nodded and ran up the stairs.

When I got to the fifth floor I was panting and still in tears. Frantically, I searched the floor for room eleven. When I did eventually see it I hammered my fist on the door. "Dylan?!" I yelled. I carried on hitting my fist on the door. "Dylan?!" I repeated. He opened the door fast. As soon as he saw me he pulled me into his chest and held me tight. "Shh, Di. What's wrong?" He asked me, playing with my brown hair. Before I could answer he picked me up and carried me into his suite. He sat us both on the sofa and continued to cradle me. "Now tell me." He said softly. "They kissed." I wailed.

Niall's POV

This is bad. Really bad. One minute I was telling Sarah about how I'd been feeling since I called Diana anorexic and the next minute we were lip locking.

I pulled out of the kiss when I heard that familiar voice. However, this time it was hurt. I looked up and saw Diana stood crying. But before we could speak she ran away. "Way to go Niall." Sarah scoffed. "Me? You were the one who kissed me! Not the other way round!" I protested.

Diana's POV

"Who kissed?" Dylan asked me. "S-Sarah a-a-and N-Niall." I screamed. "Why is it such a big deal?" He asked, confused. "He's my ex boyfriend and she's my best friend. Well supposed to be. W-we broke up two days ago." I said sadly. "Why did you break up?" He questioned. "He called me anorexic at the airport when we arrived in Miami." I shrugged. "So first he calls you something you're not, then he breaks your fragile heart? Who does blondie think he is?!" He shouted, slamming his fist on the arm rest. "Dyll, calm down. It just upset me because Sarah is meant to be my best friend. She's probably done this because she's angry that I haven't been doing what she's told me to do." I sighed. "No! That's not right. It's horrible." He sulked. "Dylan, I'm going to tell you something. You can't interrupt." I said. He nodded. I drew in a deep breath and started to tell him about my life.

~Two Hours Later~

I had finally told Dylan everything and he was just sat there. Un-moving. "Dylan?" I asked, slightly worried. "Your dad did that to you?" He blinked. I nodded slowly. "And then Niall says that to you?" He blinked again. I nodded again. "I'm going to go back to England tomorrow." I sighed. "Want me to come with you?" Dylan asked me. "Sure." I nodded. "I mean if you really want to." I added. "Of course I do. You can stay here the night if you want." He suggested. I nodded. "Can you come with me to pack my things?" I asked him. "Of course babe." He smiled. We took the lift back down to my floor in silence.
