I took heavy steps as I walk to his office. I maintained my blank face and fixed my office attire. Damn. This attire is damn uncomfortable!

"Ms. Fuentabella, you're five hours thirty-six minutes and eight seconds late. It's a shame you were late on your first day." Salubong sa akin ng former secretary. I smiled fakely. Binilang talaga ang specific time ng pagkalate ko. Hay, I feel special already.

"I forgot today is my first day." Sabi ko na totoo naman.

"Are you serious in getting your job? Because if you are, you're not trying hard and efforting enough. Basing on your arrival time, you're going to end up fired sooner." Ngumisi siya. Insulting me, eh? Nah. Do whatever you want.

"And so? I don't remember allowing you spit your opinion to me on my face. If I'm going to be fired, so be it. I don't care. I'm not broke anyway." Umiba ang timpla ng mukha niya. Huh, another basic bitch in my life, but an old one.

"You're arrogant too. How dare you say that to your senior? Impolite brat!" I rolled my eyes. Blah blah blah.

"Kindly guide me on my way to Yvander's office?--Oh wait, also basing on your temper and attitude earlier, you're not kind too. I think that's why you were fired a week later after just being newly hired." I smiled mischievously na dahilan ng mas pagkamula ng mukha niya dahil sa galit.

"How da--"

May sumingit na babae sa gitna namin dahilan ng pagkaputol ng sinasabi ng medyo may katandaang babae sa harap ko, na former secretary ni Chaos.

His empire's well known globally yet their standard in employees are so low.

"Excuse me. Are you Ms. Anne Claire Fuentabella?" My brows raised.

"Well, if you have another Anne Claire here, why'd you still ask me, dear?" I smiled sarcastically. Gosh. People here are stupid.

Napatungo siya, siguro nahiya. "Uhm, Mr. Montero is waiting for you in his office. This way." Sinundan ko siya. Tumigil muna ako sa paglalakad nang makaharap ko ang former secretary at inirapan siya. Rinig ko ang nanggigigil niyang sigaw nang malampasan ko siya.

Pinagtitinginan ako ng mga employees while I was walking. Magbubulungan na nga lang sila, yung naririnig pa. Nahiya pa silang sumigaw. Umiling ako.

The lady who led the way knocked on the door and said through the intercom that we already arrived infront of the office. I heard a voice saying 'come in' sa may intercom. She opened the door and let me come inside first before entering.

Upon entering, I was stunned when I saw the inside of the office. Nakatunganga kong nilibot ang paningin ko.

This is his office?! It's spacious as heck! It almost looked like it was a penthouse or something!

I heard someone clear his throat so I went back to my senses.

"Ms. Fuentabella, I suppose you already know Mr. Yvander Montero, CEO of Coswarth Corp. In short, he's our boss." My sight went directly to the jerk with the dark aura. Madilim ang tingin niya. It almost looked like he's gonna eat me or what. His gaze darkened a bit more when he saw me.

"You may go out, Terra. Thank you." Sabi niya ng hindi tinatanggal ang titig sa akin. His dark stare is giving me goosebumps. The lady who accompanied me bowed a bit and went inside. Okay finally, I can speak freely already.

"Here's my schedule for today. Read it." Napairap ako at umupo sa may leather sofa. I got my phone out of my Hermes and checked my social media accounts, not minding what he said.
