Chapter 3

Damon's POV:

Instead of going to the Grill, I vamp sped to the Boarding house. Everybody was there. Caroline, Bonnie, Tyler, Jeremy, Stefan, and then of coarse me. We worked up a plan when I finally spoke up.

" How are we going to have a plan when we don't even know what he wants?"

I hear sighs from every person in the room.

" He's right. We need someone to go and find out." Stefan stated while him and everyone else looks at Caroline.

"Ugh. Why does it always have to be me? What did I do to you guys?!" Caroline yells.

I laughed then stated, " Well, here's the thing Blondie, we all know he has a thing for you, so all you need to do is just play along with him and see if he tells you what he wants. Ok?" As she is about to protest I then include, " Thank you for your donation.", leaving her face annoyed.

As we all agree I then realize one thing. Elena. I need to go and check up on her and tell her the horrible news. I notice her window was open. I go in to see her listening to her music. I go calmly and gently and sit on her bed when she notices.

"Oh hey Damon. Is everything ok?" with pure worry in her voice.

"Umm.... Elena? Can I talk to you?" worried on how I was going to tell her.

"Sure what is it?" she asks with a confused look on her face.

" Its Klaus. He is back in Mystic Falls." I manage to say while looking at her face that is mixed with emotions.

I see Elena walk back and forth. She stops and blurts out,"Maybe I can reason with him?!"

My heart was pounding harder when she said that.

"Absolutely not Elena! For what?! Him to go and kill you right then and there?! I'm sorry Elena but that is not happening!", I yell as I see her get annoyed. I made an excuse and left.

Elena's POV:

I can't believe Damon. He thinks I am a child. Why can't I just try and reason with him? Maybe he would accept would ever I would offer him! Ugh! I wish he would just understand that I am just trying to help him and keep him and everyone else safe.

I am on my to the grill now. When I enter I see that one person that we all hate. Klaus. I go up to him and bluntly ask, " What do you want?!".

"Well if it isn't my doppelgänger." he says with a smirk on his face. Ugh why does he continue to do that stupid smirk.

" I am not gonna ask again! What do you want?!" I yell with even more anger.

" Ok. I need Damon. And of coarse I need you to. Why don't we go outside shall we?" he asks with arrogance. I simply just nod my head and follow him outside.

Damon would kill me if he knew I was doing this.

" Why do you need Damon? What did he do that you need him do badly?" I ask confused.

" Well that is for you to find out!" he says when all of a sudden all I see is darkness.
