Chapter 8

Elena's POV:

Dream.....

"I'm running out of a dark forest.'Where am I?', I think to myself. I have no idea where I am. Where's Damon? I keep running to I don't know where, but I just keep on running. Why do I feel like I am being chased? Well, I am the doppelgänger so of coarse I am being followed. As I keep on running I see a light. I keep on running to that light. As I am about to reach that light everything disappears."

Dream Ends.....

I wake up gasping for air. What just happened? Where am I? It took me a while to remember what happened. Aren't I supposed to be dead? Why am I still alive? As more questions kept on popping in my head Damon rushed over to me and gave me a tightening hug.

E: " What happened? Aren't I supposed to be dead?"

D: " That's what we all thought, but Bonnie was able to do a temporary dead spell that makes you dead, but really you were gonna wake up."

E: "Did you know about this?"

D: "To tell you the truth, no, I did not. I really thought you were gone forever."

E: " How long have I been out?"

D: "A whole day. Stefan told me it would take a while for you to wake up."

When he finished talking, I couldn't help it, but just lean up and kiss him. He immediately kissed back, but with even more passion. I broke the kiss, and gave him a tight hug. As I was hugging him, I remembered. Klaus. I didn't want to ruin the moment by talking about him, so I will just simply wait until later to talk to him about it. I simply just wanted to stay in his arms.
