Chapter 16: The Hospital

Rhiannons point of view

I wake up in a bed with doctors scurrying around me. Without warning I feel a needle go into my arm. My brain sluzzers and I feel so tired. I drop on to my bed already fast asleep from the pill they gave me.

Hours later I wake up feeling good and refreshed. The disgusting smell of a hospital comes through my nose. I breath a deep breath of air happy to be awake. My stomach twists by just breathing. "Blah." I throw up off the side of my bed. I can hear the splattering sound.

"Ms. we were so worried. I am so glad you are awake. It has been a full week. We gave you water well you were sleeping but no food so you must be starving." I hear tge doctor call from the doorway.

"Yes now that you mention it ny stomach is rumbling."

"Okay I will bring you food right away Ms."

Silence fills the room. I hear the occasionall cough but figure it is just me. The only way I coukd be hear though is if I killed Luca. I must have killed Luca and moved on. I give myself a silent congrats. Ya next round here I come.

"Ms. Here is your food," the docter tells me and sets down a plate of steaming bacon, toast, syrup, and perfectly made golden fluffy pancakes.

Just sitting up sends violent pains through my body. But the food looks so good I jut ignore the pain. I gobble down the pancakes chewing a biting. Swiftly moving on to the bacon, then the fruit, and finnaly the toast. Yet somehow my stomach still feels empty. "Docter may I please have another plate of food."

"Sure thing dear." The doctor runs off to get more food. Exept this time he brings back even more than last time, If even possible. This time there is an ice cream sundae with a cherry on top, a bowl of French onion soup my favorite soup, croissant, stacks of crepes and belgian waffles, fresh strawberries, nutella. A large Fruit smoothie. This time I don't quite finish as fast. I clean out my ice cream first so it won't melt. Then I take the fresh fruits, nutella, and crepes and make delicious sandwich. I carry on from there throwing the nearest piece of food into my mouth. By the time I have finished my face is a mess, the floor has croissant flakes, and I feel a whole heck of a lot better than before.

Satisfied I lean back on my bed take the remote of the counter right next to me and flip on the tv. 157 I carefully type the numbers not wanting to hit the wrong button. The treasure game is on giving Hilights of rounds fights. Finnaly the last fight is on with me and Luca. I watch as first Max crawls into the stalks for darkness and peace explaining where he was during the fight. Sound asleep.

I watch as they replay the events. Me stabbing him, me kicking, him stabbing me. I look to be in better shape until he slams the dagger in his throat. I then toss my knife about 1 mph and it manages to just puncture Luca's neck. No wonder it didn't effect him much. My body looks slightly worse until I fall to the ground my trident impaling his chest. So that's what the cracking noise was. Right as my trident reaches him a gong sounds the one I thought was a cannon. I look to see the camera switching views to Jake running with the flag over the line. Right a it was sounded me and luca where getting medical attention. So the reason I am alive isnt cause I killed Luca but because Jake brought the flag on to our side of the corn field. Still, Luca is lucky. If it weren't for Jake he wouldn't be alive right now. He will pay for that next round, give no mistake he will get what he deserves. After the recap our over they show the stats for the round. Most kills Max. Best player Jake. "Now for all the rounds. Most kills.... We have a tie between the career named Luxe who I might add is still in. And...... Max the captain of his team. Most skilled weaponry. Another tie between Max, Jake, and Luxe. Wow! Folks can you believe it a three way tie. Best player is.....Sarah. The biggest and strongest competeter is..... Darren, also known as the boy who was chasing Jake just last round. Jake ended up slamming a stalk on him but he was not killed. Smartest contestants well folks we have another tie...... Rhiannon and ......Luca. And Finaly the most voted two players to win our.....Luxe and Maaaaax!!! Stayed tuned for more updates." I clicked the tv off. So since the voters get to pick how many winners there are they must have changed to 2. They should just make up there mind already. I mean they have changed like 6 times. So smartest I guess I could live with that. I close my eyes and put my head on the pillow letting my mind wander. It wanders off to Jake saving my life. Now I have 1 more bone to pick. Exept this time with Luca and Luxe. That stupid b*tch and her frikin career friend killed my little brother. And they will pay. I got the pleasure of helping wiping all but one of them off the face of the Earth. I start feeling restless and Ancy just thinking about killing those two. Luca and Luxe. I flip back on the tv wanting to save all my anger at them for when the round starts. The announcer comes on, " For this round we have a bit of a surprise. Each of the tributes THEIR weapon to survive in less you are really skilled and hunt and fight with your bare hands. There are 7 of you left. Max needs an axe or sai blades, Jake needs his spears and/or his dart gun, Sarah her knives and arrows, Rhiannon her trident, Darren his mace, Luca his sword and throwing knives, and Luxe need her deadly knives and metal spiky numchucks, Ouch. So each of them will have there weapons and additional weapons and supplies in the center of stone. The only acsess to the stone is on a rope brige across a 250 foot drop. Of course they don't have to get their weapons. The course though will consist of the stone circle, a small island, a large rock in the ocean, and a tiny ship. Other than that there is only water. We are nice enough and on each price of land will be food and water. But it might not be enough. Sorry in advance. Oh ya We will bring three zombies of dead contestants. Now I guess I have 6 days not counting today to get ready. Luckily they have those machines that increase how fast you heal so I should be fine.
