A/N: I'm so sorry about the slowed down updates!

First of all, thank you all so much for 132 hearts!

I honestly never dreamt of reaching this far with this story, and I'm so happy for all the positive feedback I've gotten.

I'm so touched, really.

Secondly, my late updates are due me running into a writer block whoops-

After 6 weeks of constant writing, I reached the wall and yeah, rip.

Well, I can say for sure now; I'll probably gonna follow my set schedule more,

around Saturday or I might be in the mood to add an extra chapter even though it's not Saturday or the weekend.

Also, I kind of lost track of progress in the manga lol.

As most know, I read the manga while I write, and sometimes I get ahead of myself. This can lead to what happened now.

I forgot where I left off in the manga compared to my own story.

Anyways, I solved it now, and I'm back with a new update! So, without diddly darning more around, here we go!

PS!: I've been neglecting Tsukishima Kei a lot lately and Amino is starting to affect me, so have a Tsukishima and Reader moment. This whole chapter is almost just a Tsukishima and Reader moment. I'll probably do something similar with the 3rd gym people too cause, why the hell not? lol

Note for WattPad: So I finally decided to update this version too. I forgot how far I came in re-editing last time I updated, so this one will stay as the beta work. I might try to search for it later cause it's kinda pissing me off, but eh, I'm not bothered for the tim being lol.

Practise.

More practise and another day went by with hard practise.

'I'm starting to grow bored of the penalties...', (Y/N) thought for himself as he sighed out in exhaustion. Seriously, he didn't want to do any more penalties, or else his soul might float away from him for the number he lost count of.

As the eveing fell over the training camp and the sun bid goodbye for the day, Tsukishima and the (h/c) headed boy headed towards the 3rd gym like the two previous nights. The walk there was quiet, but not uncomfortable. Sure, Kei had his snarky moments, but (Y/N) had just learnt to deal with it, or return it. Either one worked for the time being.

"...Hey Kei? I've been wondering for a while..." He slowly spoke up, breaking the silence between them. The blond gave him a small arch of his brow, encouraging him to go on. "Well... I was thinking back at when I confessed to the team." (Y/N) hesitated to continue for a moment, slightly fiddling with his fingers before letting them fall to his sides. "What brought that up? ...What about it?" He kept a straight face as he pushed up his glasses from the tip of his nose. Despite not showing any interest in the subject he kept the conversation going. "How did you accept it so easily? I mean, I thought you'd at least tease me about it." The shorter male mumbled the last part, but sadly realized the latter had heard it when he sighed irked. Tsukishima had a slight frown and didn't look very amused, especially not at the last statement. "I don't appreciate being thought so low of." The taller boy gained a mumbled 'sorry.' (Y/N) avoided the other's golden eyes, feeling guilty for what he had said. "Sorry... That was rude. Um, you don't have to answer that."

"I simply don't think it matters." Kei replied blankly as the sound of loud squeaks and volleyballs hitting the court increased. When he got a confused glance, he extended his short explaination. "I don't care what you used to be. Why would that matter now if you don't live there anymore? Besides, it's not like you're sneaking around the changingroom like a pervert." (Y/N) was speechless, stopping up for a moment out of pure shock. It was a positive shock, but still, it was undoubtly shock he was feeling nonetheless. "...I see. Thanks." He let a small curve form his lips upwards as he caught up with his classmate again. "Now that I've answered that, don't dodge my questions." The (h/c) haired libero seemed to think for a moment before remembering the previous questions he had missed answering. "Well, I don't actually know how, but the thought just popped up in my head. And well... I just wanted to say thanks for letting me stay." The boy broke into a proper smile.
