A/N: I quickly wanted to apologize for my late updates. A birthday chapter is also on its way, so don't worry!

Anyways, I've had internet problems for the past few days and a writing block, so I'm really sorry about that.

The WiFi has given me a big middle finger lately, but it really gave me problems lately.

I don't know when this will be fixed, but right now it works so I'm taking the chance to update.

Without further ado, next update is here!

Cya another tine.

"Lev! I keep telling you to watch the toss before you jump! Use read blocking!!" Kuroo shouted at his younger teammate. "Ah... Right!!" The gym was filled with noise as the boys continued their practise. (Y/N) followed the ball with his eyes, diving after the ball when Hinata was blocked by the tall blonde of the crow team. The current score showed off 11 - 11, a tie between the owls and cats during their second set. Just as they gained another point, about to start their next rally, one of the Fukurodani managers, Yukie was her name as far as the (h/c) top could remember, stuck her head into the gym. "Um.. If you don't finish up soon, the cafeteria will close and you'll have to forgo dinner." She pointed towards the direction of the dining place. The comment obtained the boys' attention from the game. "We'll continue tomorrow!" Bokuto commanded the others as his stomach growled aggressively after the long day. "Dismissed!" Kuroo followed up after his fellow captain buddy.

While the gym began to empty, (Y/N) took his change. 'Alright... Now or never, I guess. You've been waiting for this opportunity. You can do this, (Y/N)...' He lightly smacked both of his cheeks, gaining the attention to someone who had been staying behind out of pure politeness. "Um... Keiji?" He said boy arched a dark brow at the younger one. "What it is, (Y/N)-san-" He cut himself off and cleared his throat before correcting himself. "(Y/N)?" Akaashi did a small bow to apologize for his mistake.

"Well, I ah... I mean, I was wondering if you could help me with setting up balls and tosses. If that's alright with you of course..! I mean, I'm sure you're hungry, so we can do it tomorrow, but if it wouldn't be too much trouble...!" The last sentence came out as a wild hurry of a stutter, but the vice captain managed to understand it somehow. "It's alright. I don't mind." He turned away from the younger boy, raising his voice slightly. "Bokuto-san, I'll stay behind with (Y/N). Please save me some food for later." The (h/c) haired libero doubted they could even hear him, but Kuroo signaled a thumbs up and a wide smirk, Bokuto was grinning like the man-child he was and Tsukishima had a blank look. Hinata and Lev was far gone into the darkness of the evening.

Akkashi turned his attention back to (Y/N). "Alright. Is there anything specific you wanted to learn? I doubt that pose from earlier was anything comfortable." (Y/N) sweat dropped at the memory, giving the older a slight face to expressing exactly that. "Yeah, I'd... like to avoid that, to say the least." He awkwardly rubbed the back of his head. Keiji nodded, giving him an understanding look. "Well, let's do our best." A sigh of relief was released out of the latter's (l/c) lips and his shoulders relaxed. "Right..! Let's get down to business!"

It didn't take long for (Y/N) to get the hang of it, well almost. But Akaashi was a fairly good teacher to say the least. He was definitely a good few leagues above Nishinoya, that was for sure. As the black haired setter gave his instructions, the libero did his best to follow them. It was a trial and error process for them both, challenging them on two different levels in two completely different ways.

The clock was definitely thicking and it was noticed by how the tiredness was getting to the two of them. A whole day with practise, practise and more practise from dusk to dawn and beyond sure was draining. "(Y/N), that's enough for today. Good work." Akaashi praised the other, giving him a small smile. The (h/c) haired nodded back. "Right. Thank you for today, Keiji." Both of them did a small bow at each other and cleaned up the gym before they took their leave.

The small walk back to the others were short and quiet. (Y/N) glaced over at Akaashi. "Hey Keiji? I was... um, just wondering..." He slowly spoke up, breaking the silence between them. "It's alright. We can do it again tomorrow. I don't mind." A small spark glimted in (Y/N)'s (e/c) eyes and he broke into a small, soft smile. "...Thank you. I'm looking forwards to it." Thank godness it was dark. Akaashi returned the gesture with a nod and turned his head slightly away from the (h/c). 'Why... is his ears red?', but he didn't question it aloud though.

They exchanged their goodnights for the evening before returning to their respected teams' given sleeping rooms. (Y/N) quietly closed the door behind him, noticing most of the others were already asleep. Except one.

Tsukishima were sitting on his futon with a book, using his phone as the only light sorce. 'What...? Why is he up right now? Also, that doesn't look very good for the eye... How can he read like that?' He tilted his head at kei which was answered with an arched, blonde brow.

"Hey..." (Y/N) lowly greeted in a slight whisper.

"You're late."

"I'm... sorry? Wait, what are you doing still awake though? Where you wai-"

"Learn to take a break." He pushed up his glasses with no specific emotion portrayed. Using his free hand, he held out a small box. "If you want to get better, at least take care of your health." He simply stated as he marked where in the book he was, closing it. (Y/N) tip toes over to the blonde and gratefully took the box of leftovers from the dinner. "Thanks, Kei." He mumbled gently and opened the box, using the chopsticks he was handed as well. Keeping the light on, Tsukishima simply waited for the other to finish, not that his classmate really minded. "Just eat and go to sleep." He sighed.

It was quiet between them which made it easy to hear the quiet breathings and snores of the others. The peaceful atmosphere made him realize how tired he really was and it was harder and harder to keep his eyes open. As he finished up the last of the food, he covered his hand over his mouth, letting out a big yawn. By this point, Tsukishima was already in his futon with his back to the latter. Following the other, (Y/N) placed the box and chopsticks down, getting under the covers after changing into his night wear. It didn't take long before sweet sleep embraced him and his exhausted state.

Wonder if a toss can be tested out tomorrow. Wouldn't it be just so cool to set up a toss for one of the top aces in all Japan?
