A/N: Alright, so I figured I'd post a new update right now instead of doing the hangout special.

(I'm literally trying to catch up with 13 birthdays and it's going slow. I've completed 4/13. Send help.

Well, to avoid further waiting, I decided to do this chapter first. It's longer than expected, but you deserve it.

Also, thank you so much for 200 hearts! I'm not sure I'm gonna do a special for this one considering the pile of eheh... 13 hangout scenarios I'm writing, but I guess that could be the celebration? Haha. Thank you all so much once again.

Really, it means a lot to me.

"Good work today." Kuroo clapped his hands twice, rounding up the practise for the evening. Catching his breath, (Y/N) didn't move from where he stood. "Ah... I'll stay a bit longer to practise, if that's fine..." The boy gained several raised brows, but the rooster head only shrugged. "Don't make it too late, but do what you want." He gave his signature smirk. 'Isn't that phrased a bit backwards...?'

"Hey hey hey! Then I'll stay behind too!" Bokuto loudly announced, startling most.

"Shoyo, could you tell Daichi for me? If it's not too much..!" He quickly added on, not wishing to push the peer. It was already late as it was, and he honestly didn't expect the orange haired boy to remember his message at all. "You can't trust this guy with that during this hour."

"Hey-!" Hinata was cut off by Tsukishima once again.

"Well, later."

"R-Right. Thank you." (Y/N) didn't gain any replies as the gym was emptied more and more. Lev waved his goodbye as well, followed by Kuroo and lastly Akaashi, leaving only him and the loud mouthed captain left. "Hey hey hey, (Y/N)! Let's get moving before our bodies cool down!"

"Yes..!" He almost immediately answered back our of habit. "Oh, and ah... Would it be alright if I practised tossing with you?" The libero shyly asked in a loud enough voice for the other to hear. Gaining a confused head tilt, Koutaro pointed at himself. "Shouldn't you ask Akaashi about that? I'm a wing spiker."

"I know that, I meant it more like... As in, could I toss to you? I think it would be good practise tossing to one of the top aces in Japan, if you get what I mean." Letting out a small 'oof' as his (h/c) hair was ruffled, the younger was met with a large, bright grin. "Leave it to me!"

"Thanks! Ah, um... I apologise if I mess up at some point-."

"Hey now, don't talk like that before we start." Bokuto's grin didn't falter. In fact, it was beaming with confidence both in himself and (Y/N). The libero received a poke to the forehead. "If ya keep saying you're gonna mess up, then you're bound to mess up. Try saying something like 'I can do it!' or 'This time, I'll definitely succeed!'. C'mon, I won't let you toss to me until you've said it."

"...Ah, alright. Um..." The sudden encouragement made him feel a bit awkward, but he obeyed the instructions either way. This was something he really wanted to do, so he'd do it no matter how wrong it felt.

Taking a deep breath, (Y/N) fixed his posture. He straightened up and tilted his head upwards to meet the golden eyed male in front of him, making dead-on eye contact. "I'm going to give you the best toss you've ever hit." He declaired to the confident ace player, mirroring the wide grin he was given. "Alright! That's more like it!! Let's spike some volleyballs!"

Just like he had practised with Akaashi, (Y/N) was standing behind in the back line, focusing as Bokuto gave him a softly curved ball. Leaping into the air, his fingers met with the round surface as he sent it over to where he could glimt Bokuto was about to attack from. It was like watching in slow motion. He was feeling anxious, yet he couldn't wipe the smile of excitement off of his face. He sent it from his hands to the other's. Then the ball met the other side of the court with a loud BAM.
