Karasuno had gone back to their starting players, giving (Y/N) time to cool down. The previous intensity had completely died down and the boy was back to his quiet self.

The audience's attention had gone back to the game alone, watching as the volleyball macth continued into its 3rd set. Though, the effect of it left an uneasy after taste.

The first year's (e/c) eyes wandered over the court as the players moved around and the ball was in play. He paid the two fellow liberos some extra attention. He watched as Daichi and Yu stood for the main defense, receiving, digging and diving for whichever ball they had the smallest chance of saving. He watched as the elite #7 libero did a toss and Oikawa spiked a point to Blue Castle. His (e/c) eyes didn't waver as Oikawa did an incredible toss to Iwaizumi upclose to the net.

'...A libero setter...? Doesn't matter. We have to win. For the sake of those we beat. Don't worry Taka-san, Satori. I'll fight for this one, too. But.. I can't get too cocky, right..? I mean, Seijoh is super good after all...' He fiddled slightly with his fingers.

"Don't think like that, (Y/N)." Tadashi placed a hand on his classmate's shoulder, making him tense up a bit in surprise.

"D-Did I say that out loud..?!"

"Ah, no, nothing like that." He shook his head before continuing. "You just had that type of face again, that's all."

"R-Right... Sorry about that..."

"No..! It's okay! I mean, you did really good in the second set!" Yamaguchi panicked, hurriedly trying to not make the situation worse. "Me on the other hand... It must be nice. I also want to get out of the warmup zone soon."

"...Mh. I'm sure your turn is soon, Tadashi." (Y/N) offered him a slight smile, trying to encourage the other one even just the slightest.

Hinata, who had been standing next to Yamaguchi, was switched into the court again. The two other first years watched as he left.

"I hope you're right. Thanks, (Y/N)."

The short (h/c) hair gave the freckled one a nod in return. They both glanced over at the score board.

13 - 14 to Blue Castle.

Points were exchanged and Nishinoya had some amazing saves, making his kouhai internally drop his jaw in awe of him.

'Do I really need to surpass something like that...? They're fine with just relying on Noya, right..?'

Yamaguchi sweat dropped as (Y/N) began to fiddle again.

Suddenly, Shoyo let out a loud yell.

"It's on!!!"

It caught both on and off court players' attention to him. Kageyama seemed to notice this and took advantage of the small decoy, tossing to Asahi instead.

It brought the two teams into a tie on 15 -15, and Aoba Johsai took a time out.

"I'll hand out the towels!"

"I-I can help with the water bottles..!" (Y/N) suggested in a stutter after Yamaguchi.

"Thanks." Shimizu took some of the water bottles, Yamaguchi got the towels and (Y/N) grabbed the rest of the water bottles, and they all handed it out to the sweaty players.

The short first year handed the last water bottle to Kageyama. They exchanged a quick look.

"...Do you know how to do it? You... haven't used it."
