Charlie, Cole, and Jenna sprinted down the crowded streets to the work office of Mr. Garcia. Jenna was laughing, giddy that they had managed to slip past a warlock. cole was still stingy and Charlie was really just focused on running.

they arrived in quick time to find the office crowded with people.

"We can't just slip in, the metal detectors," Jenna said dragging them to the side of the building.

"We just use the glamor rune," Charlie answered.

"Did you not just hear me? the Metal detectors will sound once they sense the metal from our weapons," she answered back.

"We'll have to scale the side of the building then." Cole offered.

Jenna led them up the side of the building next to the skyscraper and they all looked up from the tiny shop.

"This seems a little extreme, even for me," Jenna said shielding her eyes from the sun.

"We don't have a choice, come here," Cole said as he drew out his stele

she walked over to him and he re-runed her arms for swiftness, extra jump, and climbing. Charlie helped Rune Cole. Jenna pulled a black shinny rope from her backpack and tied it around her waist, fastening it tightly.

"I'll try to get up there first, then I'll toss you guys the rope." she offered.

Charlie nodded before he said, "Where did you get the rope?".

"I found it a long time ago in the institute, it's a real lifesaver," she said with a smile

"I'll try to give you a better start," Cole said.

he pulled out a long cylinder, it expanded into a large metal spear. he threw it as hard as possible towards the building. they watched as it sailed gracefully through the air and landed into the side of the building.

Jenna took a couple of steps back before she threw herself forward at her top speeds. she propelled through the air and up the side of the building, catching Cole's spear and hoisting herself up.

she balanced on the spear and pulled out her hand axes, crouching down before using the spear to send herself even higher than before. from where they stood it looked as if she were running up the side of the building. occasionally she had to thrust her axes into the wall before she was back to running up the side.

"Are you certain that he'll help us?" Cole asked.

"I got a feeling that this will work," Charlie answered

"Then we're screwed, your 'feelings' never turn out like how we want them to." Cole muttered.

they lost sight of her in the air as they looked to the building that looked like it had a cage around the top floor. for a dark moment both boys expected to see her body plummeting to the ground but instead, the shine of the black rope caught their eye.

It violently jumped, giving them their signal, Charlie smiled.

"You first?" Cole offered.

Charlie nodded and followed in Jenna's footsteps. he raced as fast as possible against the slick glass and used the rope to safely hoist himself up. he could feel Cole on his heels and he tried to rush up the building.

Charlie had been in high places but at the height that they were trying to reach, he didn't dare look down. Jenna outstretched her hand, as he got to the top, and she helped him on to one of the metal strips. he moved out of the way, careful with the wind as they helped Cole up.
