Imagine for: Kei p.2

It was the big night. The night of the show. You weren't very excited seeing as though Daniel and Kenzie would be making out together.

Daniel avoided you at all costs, you understood though, of course you did.

He was in love with Kenzie.

You sat in the back room as the play slowly drug on and on.

Thats when Kenzie walked into the back room. It was only you and her so she slowly made her way over to you. SOmething about her seemed different.

"Hey... Daniel told me what happened. Did I cause all this?" she asked, she sounded upset, mad, and scared. SHe seemed sincere almost.

"Whats it to you?" you asked, you didn't snap, you just simple asked.

"Because I know what thats like. I know I might have seemed that I wanted Daniel but- I- I just don't want you to be heart broken. I'm sorry. If it makes you feel any better I'm not going through with the rest of the play" she gave you a peirced lip smile.

"What do you mean? Theres only one scene left!" you asked in disbelief.

"Doesn't feel right kissing someone when they don't want to, or when they don't like you like that" she shrugged.

"He likes you. Kei, like alot" she smiled before walking out. The director ran into the back room to tell you to get ready. You got butterflies in your stomache  as you walked out onto the stage, seeing everyones confused stares, Daniels most of all.

The director whispered "role with it" so thats what everyone did, they rolled with it.

"...and I love you" Daniel whispered, you knew it was just a play, that it was all acting, but it still gave you butterflies. "I mean it. I do love you" he added, this time, it wasn't in the script, "Kei, I am in love with you" he whispered so it was only you two able to hear it. You smiled at him.

"I love you two" you replied, "I mean it" he grabbed your waist and placed his lips on yours, The crowd errupted in cheers, aplauding and standing for everyone. You and Daniel didn't stop though, you two didn't realize that everyone was still watching, non the less your families.

The currents were pulled adn you and Dani broke away from each other.

"I'm sorry it took me so long to realize it" he apologized.

"All that matters is that you know it now" you laughed, he pulled you into a hug and you melted into his embrace. You were grateful to have your best friend back, but not only as your best friend but as your boyfriend.
