Cherry Lipstick [Choni]

Chapter 5- Oh No.

(Author's Note- there is a 2 ½ month time jump from the last chapter. This chapter will also be in past tense and I have been doing present tense but felt like this chapter need to be in past tense. There is also swearing. Enjoy.)

(Narrator's POV)

Lately Cheryl has been ignoring things that have been happening to her. Like the waves of nausea, the tightness of her overalls, and her abnormal dizziness. She thinks she is just sick but oh no it's something worse.

As Cheryl and Toni walked through the school halls, with Betty and Veronica, they saw something that shocked them all. Jughead and Kevin were kissing and Betty freaked out.

"OH. MY. GOD. Jug! Kevin! When did this happen?" Betty asked fangirling over them.

"Around the time you and Jughead broke up. He approached me and asked me on a date, I said yes, and one thing led to another and now we are dating," Kevin said smiling at Jughead.

"Well I'm glad you're happy but why did you guys not tell us?" Betty asked them.

"We wanted to have some time to just ourselves for a while and we thought this would be a good way for you to find out about us," Jughead replied.

"It's good thing to want to keep a relationship a secret for a while. You don't have to deal with pressure and you'll have time to actually have a good relationship with each other before everyone knows about it. Otherwise imagine telling us about you guys and then you guys breaking up. That would be sad," Toni said.

"Exactly," Kevin, Betty, and Veronica said at the exact same time.

"Jinx!" yelled Veronica.

"Omg babe you are so childish sometimes," Betty said to her.

"Yeah, Toni is like that some-," Cheryl had started to say when she rushed to the bathroom.

Cheryl ran into a stall and puked. Betty ran in after her followed by Toni and Veronica.

"Omg Cheryl are you okay?!?!" Betty asked her worried out of her mind.

"Yeah I've just been feeling sick lately," Cheryl told them.

"Babe, I think you need to go home," Toni told Cheryl.

"No, I'm fine. I don't need to leave," Cheryl objected.

"I agree with Toni you should go home," Veronica said agreeing with Toni.

"Yeah Cheryl you really should go home," Betty said to Cheryl.

"I am fine!" Cheryl said as she got off the floor.

But once she got up she fell to the ground as quickly as she had risen.

"CHERYL!!!!!!!" Toni screamed.

"OH. MY. GOD. CHERYL!" Betty screamed.

Toni grabbed Cheryl and put her in her lap. Veronica grabbed her phone and called an ambulance while Betty ran and got a teacher.

"Cheryl wake up! Oh my god, Veronica what's wrong with her?" Toni asked.

"I don't know Toni. She is probably dehydrated from being sick. I think she'll be okay. Hopefully."

A couple minutes later paramedics took Cheryl to the hospital and did tests on her while she was still passed out. Toni sat by her side through the whole thing. A half and hour after the tests got done the doctor came in to check on Cheryl.

"So doctor what is wrong with her?" Toni asked before the doctor could say anything.

"She's just a little dehydrated. That happens a lot with pregnant women," the doctor told Toni.
