Chapter 7- When Will it End?

(Trigger WARNING! There is violence in this chapter so beware.)

(Toni's POV)

Today is Cheryl's first ultrasound and I think I am more nervous than she is. When we get into the hospital I see Fred Andrews standing at the check-in desk. Cheryl starts to shake. The last time she shook like this was when she saw Archie at the police station. Oh no he's walking towards us. Him and Archie still don't know that Cheryl is pregnant.

"Hey Cheryl, how are you doing?" He asks her.

"She's fine," I tell him in a sassy tone.

"Toni!" Cheryl says hitting my ribs.

"Ow."

"I'm okay Mr. Andrews. Thanks for asking," she tells him.

"Okay good," he says.

He starts to walk away but then Cheryl turns towards him and asks him,

"Are you on my side or Archie's?"

"Well I believe you if that's what you're asking."

"That is what I'm asking. Oh and I have something to tell you," She says to him.

"Cheryl are you serious?" I whisper to her.

"Yes, it's his grandchild," she whispers to me. She lets out a sigh and says, "I'm pregnant."

"Is, is it Archie's?"

"Yes. Also I would appreciate it if you didn't tell Archie just yet. Also I am only telling you because I wanted you to find out from me and not someone else."

"Oh okay well I guess I'll see you tomorrow," Fred says to us and then turns and walks away.

"Babe did you have to do that?" I ask her.

"Yes I wanted him to find out from me and not when we are in court," She tells me.

I nod my head at her and we sit down to wait for the doctor to come get us.

About ten minutes pass before the nurse come gets us.

"Cheryl Blossom," the nurse calls into the waiting room.

Cheryl and I get up and follow the nurse into a room that has a bed, two chairs, and an ultrasound machine with a monitor. The nurse asks us some questions before the doctor comes in. The doctor comes in about five minutes later. She is a tall, kinda older woman with long brown hair and blue eyes.

"So is dad here today?" she asks us.

"No, he is not around but this is my girlfriend Toni," Cheryl tells the doctor.

"Oof I see you are a junior in high school. That must be rough," she says to Cheryl.

"Ya it is plus having a baby you never wanted to make is even worse," I say to her because in my opinion she is being very unprofessional.

"Oh I didn't know your situation. I'm sorry," she apologized to Cheryl.

"It's okay you didn't know and Toni you should not have acted that way," she says to us getting angry at me.

"Well then lets get this ultrasound started," the doctor says to us.

(Cheryl's POV)

The doctor made me pull up my shirt and then she squirted some cold gel onto my stomach. She started the ultrasound. As I see my baby on the monitor I start to tear up.

"There is your baby," The doctor says.

"Toni, that's my baby," I say pretty much crying. I grip Toni's hand tighter.
