Eliza's eyes fluttered open as the man next to her started to move. She, being tired and it being her day off was quite annoyed with being woken up unnecessarily. "Why are you moving?" She groaned softly, tightening grip on him, pulling him closer, trying to ensure no movement.
"Tired, are you?" He asked with a small chuckle, to which Eliza replied with a small hum.
"It your fault..." she mumbled softly against his skin.
"My fault? How is it my fault?"
"Your the one who kept me up so late." She replied.
"But if I remember correctly, you seemed to enjoy it."
"Not the point Alex." She said a small smile forming in her lips, it becoming more clear to her that was most likely not going to get to go back to sleep.
"Oh I think it is though."
"Well then you'd be wrong." She said, lifting her head letting her eyes finally meet his.
Alexander chuckled at this, pressing a kiss to the tip of her nose. "Betsey you're so funny."
"It wasn't a joke Alexander." She told him as she sat up, only to be pulled back to him.
"It was still funny." He replied before pressing his lips to hers.
Eliza and Alexander were currently as Alex would call it, 'friends with benefits'. Eliza had a feeling that it wasn't the best idea in the world but when she started thinking that, he would kiss her or smile or laugh and the thought would drift out of her mind. This had been going on for about two weeks, they weren't going to tell anyone. After all they were just friends, that's all and they happened to do certain activities together. No big deal, right?
"You're a dork." She said in soft voice as he pulled away.
"Maybe, but I'm a hot dork." He said causing Eliza to laugh softly.
"Well then..." she replied not too sure what to say to that.
"Oh come on, you can't deny it."
"I mean I can-"
"But you won't."
"No, I wouldn't want to hurt your fragile ego." She said kissing his cheek. "I'm good friend."
"Such a good friend." He said with a smile. "But I should get dressed, there's work to be done." He told her as he started to get up.
"Alexander..." she groaned. "It's out day off, and you want to work?"
"What? I always work on my days off, I don't have anything else to do." He said as he stood up looking for his pants.
"How about have a lay in? Maybe watch some tv? Go to the park? Not work?" She suggested giving him a somewhat exasperated look.
"I mean I could..." he started as he pulled on his pant now searching for his shirt.
"But you don't want to?" She asked.
"Not particularly..." he told her when found his shirt and pulled it on.
"Well could you lay in a bit longer, I want cuddles."
"Cuddle yourself."
"I don't think that's possible, please Alex, just a bit longer." She begged putting on her best puppy dog eyes.
"Fine..." he sighed going back to the bed as he pulled his shirt off, throwing it back to its previous spot.
"Only a bit longer, I'd like to get something done today."
Eliza rolled her eyes at this as he gently pulled her closer. "Yeah, well I don't know how much more you ca do, you're constantly working."
"No I'm not." Alexander protested. "I mean I spend some time with you, and my friends, don't I?"
"Okay so your either working, sleeping with me or drinking-"
"Do not want to-"
"I didn't say that, just shhhhhhhhh..." she told him as she snuggled into him happily.
"Okay, Okay..." he mumbled before kissing her head, they were in for a bit of a lazy morning.
