Elsie didn't know whether or not to turn up at the Shelby's place of business, and she didn't know the name nor what their business was. If Finn didn't remember her and she barely knows him, what was the point?

In the end, she decided to go since she had already made the plans, and she couldn't go and cancel on them now as she didn't have a means of contacting them and she didn't want to seem rude by just not showing up.

She procrastinated until she had half an hour before the meeting time when she put on a pretty dress and brushed her hair and left it down. She did her make up. She then made sure everything in her room that she owned was locked away in the wardrobe. She grabbed her purse and made her way out of the door.

She reached the building with five minutes to spare, the cold nipping at her now rosy cheeks as she waited for someone to answer the door. She started rubbing her arms to try and generate some form of heat. She knocked again and she heard a shout from Tommy to let herself in.

She opened the door and sighed in relief once she spotted the fireplace roaring. She quickly shut the door and walked closer to the fire, putting her hands near it. She then pulled her hands back, clasped in front of her. "Hello, Thomas. I forgot to greet you, that was highly improper of me" Elsie said, bowing her head down slightly.

"It's alright Elsie, you looked freezing," Thomas said kindly, gesturing for her to carry on doing what she was doing.

"Is Finn here?" She questioned, her hands now warming up in front of the fire.

"He was out with his friend, Isaiah, but should be back shortly. " Thomas said, pouring himself a drink, "would you like one?" He offered but she politely declined.

"I don't drink," she said, glancing over at Thomas. "What business do you run, Thomas?" She asked curiously.

"I own several businesses and buildings," he said, "I also import and export"

"Oh," she said, "that's great. I'm hoping I can carry on my father's job and become a horse trainer or something along those lines"

"I think that'll suit you," Thomas said kindly.

"Thanks" Elsie stepped away from the fire and sat down on an armchair near Thomas.

They made idle chat about Elsie's horses and her house, when the door opened, revealing two boys around Elsie's age, she immediately stood up, once the boys spotted her they stopped and stared. It was hard not to stare since she was so pretty.

"Lads, this is Elsie," Thomas said, placing a hand on her back and bringing her closer to the boys. Finn had an expression of disbelief plastered on his face. "Elsie, this is Finn and Isaiah" he gestured to the freckled, ginger boy first then to the darker-skinned boy next to him. They both were attractive Elsie thought.

"It's nice to meet you, Elsie," Isaiah said, coming forward and shaking her hand.

"It's nice to meet you too, Isaiah" she smiled and he practically melted on the spot, even though she was a bit posh for that area, she was pretty, her accent was to die for and she didn't push him away for being black.

Finn was frozen on the spot before grabbing Tommy's arm and dragged him into another room, leaving the two remaining teens confused.

"I wonder what's wrong with Finn," Isaiah said, looking at the door they shut in confusion.

"He might have remembered me," Elsie said quietly to herself, though Isaiah heard her.

"What do you mean 'remember me', has he met you before?" He asked curiously.
