Elsie, that day, had to get driven to her house to get plenty of money for a horse, a suitable outfit and then had to get back. She told her stablehand to get ready for a new horse, just in case she won one.

She made it back to Birmingham late in the evening and she practically collapsed on her bed when she got back to the Shelby residence. When she woke up, she dressed up, did her make up and then placed on her hat and shoes. She then placed the money in her bag and made her way down the stairs, she spotted Finn sulking on the sofa. "Aren't you coming with us?" She questioned.

"Nope" he said sadly, "Tommy said I can't cus I'm too young, which is shit cus you're younger than me" Finn stood up, facing Elsie with a serious expression. "I want you to be careful" he told her seriously, "and I mean it, take this" Finn grabbed his pistol and went to pass it to her but he pushed it back to him.

"I've already got one" she told him, opening a part of her bag and pulling it out slightly, "I've had it on me ever since I first stepped foot in Birmingham" she told him.

"Just, if you're in trouble, stay near my brothers or hide."

"Are they expecting trouble? Why are you telling me this, Finn?" Elsie was getting worried but was interrupted by a knock at the door and Arthur telling her to hurry up.

Finn just pulled her into a short hug and kissed her cheek. "Be careful" he told her once more before pushing her towards the doorway.

"Bye Finn"

"Good Luck on buying a horse"

"Thank you" she smile and then went to the large vehicle.

"Elsie, you're in the back I'm afraid," Tommy said from the front of the car.

"That's alright" she said, she went to the back of the vehicle and they lowered the back and helped her in. She sat in the corner squished up to Michael. "Did you own a lot of horses?" Elsie asked Michael.

"We only ever had a couple at a time but we always went to the auctions to see if we could get anything cheap" he told her, "I'm guessing you own a few"

"I've got two that I keep and I train other people's racehorses but I haven't done that much, since I've been in Birmingham. But sometimes we buy auction horses, train them and sell them. I haven't done that since my father passed away."

"I'm sorry about your father" Michael said, "what about your mother? Does she help train them too?"

"She died when I was around twelve" Elsie told him. He was going to apologise again but she cut him off, "it's alright, no need to apologise"

The conversation died down a bit apart from when Curly asked Elsie about what types of horses she had, she was more than happy to tell the man, she said that if she moves the horses closer to Birmingham, she'd love for him to look at them.

At one point they were going down a long dirt road surrounded by trees when the engine of the car started smoking so they pulled over.

Tommy asked Curly to look at the car while everyone else either went outside to stretch their legs or stayed in the back.

Michael told them all Polly made them sandwiches and tea, Elsie politely declined whilst the others ate them and drank the tea. As soon as they were done, they were back on the road.

"Alright, this is a respectable event and you'll behave accordingly. No weapons, no drinking. John, we'll stay together. When the horse comes up, I'll bid. I've already registered with the auctioneer, Elsie I also registered you as well, but for a horse I think you'd be interested in, this means he'll know to expect our bids."
