"Elsie? Finn?" Isaiah's voice shouted outside the stables.
Elsie and Finn were getting changed back into their normal clothes, Elsie was in the stall in her underwear pulling her dress over her head when she heard a crashing sound. She pulled the dress over and looked over the stall door and saw both Isaiah and Finn on the floor Finn with a bright red face and Isaiah looked a mixture between embarrassed and shock.
"We didn't mean to see you like that-" Finn started and Elsie realised what they meant.
"Oh" it was her turn to flush red.
"It's my fault, I saw you two on the horses earlier and Finn was going to show me them and..." Isaiah pointed at her. "That happened"
Elsie put on her shoes and grabbed the clothing she took off and piled them in the corner of the clothing room where she noticed Finn had left the clothes he was wearing.
Out the corner of her eye she spotted Finn's hat, when she picked it up something cut into her, she yelped and dropped the hat. Blood trickled down her hand.
"Elsie?" Finn walked in and spotted his hat, blood on the razors and Elsie holding her hand which was bleeding.
"Why have you got razors in your hat Finn?" She asked, shaking.
"It's a precaution, all Shelby's got one. Elsie, I'm sorry, I didn't know you were going to touch it. Come here" Finn pulled out a clean handkerchief from his pocket and wrapped it around her hand. He then picked up his hat.
"Do you use it as a weapon?"
"I haven't, my brothers have done in the past. Don't let that scare you away from me, or them"
"Just, be careful. I know I can't say that since I barely know you. But like you said, I think I know you"
Elsie held her injured hand with her other one and Finn smiled softly.
Isaiah walking in awkwardly coughing, "one of your maids said you have a phone call from you Aunt"
"Oh, okay. Let's head back."

The two days went by in a blur, Elsie spent most of her time with Finn, teaching him how to ride properly, soon he was beating her in faux races, Isaiah watching them, telling them both that he doesn't feel like getting on a horse.
It was now the day of the party and guests were meant to show up in an hour. All that morning they were recieving crates of alcohol, some instruments which the musicians brought up early and began to set up, the few bartenders showed up and Elsie showed them to the bar they had in the house, it was never stocked as her family barely ever drank but now it was fully stocked.
Elsie stood with Finn, she was in her best "party" dress as Finn put it, he was the one to pick it out. She was shaking from nerves and she froze when she felt a hand slip into hers. She looked up at Finn who kept looking forwards. She smiled as her nerves were settled.
Isaiah opened the door as cars started turning up. Once Finn saw a person he knew he let go of Elsie's hand and went to greet them, leaving Elsie alone. She frowned but smiled when Isaiah told her to, telling she should be happy since it was a party.
She said hi to everyone who entered, telling them the directions to the bar. Elsie had given her maids the day off and all of the stablehands, apart from the main one, she asked if he could stay for the party to keep an eye on the horses and the stables to make sure no one goes near there. But with all of her maids and familiar faces gone, she didn't know anyone there apart from Finn and Isaiah.
