In the morning Finn didn't say a word about what happened the previous night. He didn't want to admit that he thought he was weak because he cried. He didn't want to admit to Elsie that he had also cried because he killed a man, no matter how much that man deserved it for killing his brother, he wasn't like his brothers, killing was hard.

Arthur's carriage was taken through the streets of Small Heath and Finn and Elsie held the flowers they got him and placed them on the moving carriage. It was being led by Curly and Charlie. Elsie looked at everyone else who was in the street, she noticed Linda and her child, Billy and across the street was Ada and Karl.

Both Finn and Elsie went to the betting shop and Elsie helped out where she could, as she hasn't necessarily worked there before, so she didn't know exactly what to do, but she wanted to keep her mind off of things, they both needed to take things off of their minds. She also realised that she and Polly didn't get to have tea like she said they would. Maybe once the funeral happened then maybe they could.

They were at the same location where John's carriage was lit, they were putting on the oil when a lady began walking towards them all.

"It's all right, let her come" Tommy told everyone once someone informed him that she was coming over, the lady walked over with a white flag. Thomas shouted over to her "Please, until we finish"

So that's what she did, she waited until the funeral was complete before her and Tommy went somewhere. "Finn, how are you coping?" Elsie said sadly, wiping her damp eyes.

"I'm not" he told her, "I'm just trying to not show it" Finn told her quietly, "Shelby's don't cry"

"Finn" Elsie said softly, "I told you last night, it's okay to cry" she told him, holding his face in her hand gently.

Finn nuzzled into her hand, not saying anything, just enjoying the warmth from her hand on his cheek. "Let's head back home" she told him.

"Finn, come with me" Tommy said and Elsie pouted.

"Seriously?" She questioned with a slight whine.

"Sorry, El. I'll come back later" Finn told her softly, kissing her briefly before going with his brother.

Instead, Elsie made her way back to their house and she decided to take a nap, which then turned into a deep sleep as she didn't wake up until the next morning, when
Tommy knocked at the door asking for Finn, who, she just realised, was back home and in bed.

"Finn, Mr Changretta is coming to Birmingham and I need you" he said and Elsie immediately shot Thomas down.

"No! Why are you putting him in danger?"Elsie said angrily.

"He's not going to be in danger Elsie, trust me" Thomas said reassuringly but Elsie gave him an unconvinced look.

"I fucking swear, Tom, if Finn comes back injured or worse, dead. I will fucking kill you, okay?" Elsie threatened, Thomas wasn't scared or anything but he merely shrugged, accepting it.

"Okay. Fair enough. Come on, Finn, I'll give you five minutes to get ready" Tommy then left the building.

"Finn" Elsie pulled his face down so he could kiss her, "please be careful. I don't trust what Tommy says, just don't get hurt" she placed more kisses on his lips before Tommy honked the horn of the car and Finn pulled away rushing to change his clothes. "I love you, Finn" Elsie told him before he left.
