Finn woke up to the sound of crying. He sat up and jumped out of bed and then the spare bedroom and straight to Elsie's. He saw her shaking and bawling in her bed, but she was still asleep.
"Don't do it" she repeated, "mum, don't"
Finn sat next to her on the bed and gently soothed her, telling her that it's okay. "Finn?" She asked after thirty minutes of Finn soothing her, "what're you doing here?" She asked sleepily.
"You were crying in your sleep, I couldn't leave you alone," he told her.
"I was crying?" She questioned, feeling around her eyes which were evidently wet. "Oh"
"Do you remember what you were dreaming about?" Finn then asked her.
Elsie shook her head, "I wasn't dreaming about anything" she told him, "was I sleep talking?"
"You said something about your mum and you said "don't do it", do you remember anything?"
She shook her head once more, "can you stay with me?" Elsie asked, looking worriedly at Finn.
"Yeah, okay" Elsie moved slightly so Finn could get in the bed.
"Hold me" she whispered and Finn complied, he pulled Elsie into his chest and wrapped an arm around her waist, burrowing his head in her neck, getting comfortable. "Thanks, Finn" she whispered before she drifted off.
That morning, Elsie woke up to an empty, cold bed and a note. The only person it could have belonged to was Finn. When she read it, it was riddled with spelling mistakes but it basically said that he was sorry to leave but he had to. Elsie understood, it was a difficult time for the Shelby's and she knew they needed time to think and plan things.

Three months had passed since Elsie stepped foot in Birmingham, she still had visitors like Finn, Isaiah and Michael. Michael had even brought over Charlotte at one point so the girls could meet. Elsie had heard about Tommy getting injured and she had to wait until he was back home to visit him. And the day after he got back home, she visited him and helped as much as she could around the place, like helping look after Charlie, taking care of the horses or helping with the housework.
She couldn't really go to Birmingham since her workload had increased, as she had new and demanding customers, plus a couple of foals being born which took up most of her time.
Elsie's work pile had finally quietened down and she only had her own horses and one customer horse. Elsie decided to go and see everyone in Birmingham.
Also during the three months, during her free time, Roland had taught her how to drive. So she drove down and parked outside the Shelby Company. She knocked on the door because she knew it wasn't opening time yet.
"Who is it?" Esme's annoyed voice yelled from inside the building.
"It's me, Elsie" she replied, a few seconds later she opened the door and let her in. "Esme, I think you should stay at home, it looks like you're about ready to have the baby"
"I want it out" she said with a sigh, "I can barely sleep, I keep needing to piss. It's fucking me off" Esme exclaimed.
"Remind me never to have kids" Elsie laughed.
"Will do" Esme said, "are you looking for Finn?" She questioned as an afterthought.
"I was actually, perhaps even Michael or Isaiah. I just want to see everyone" Elsie admitted.
"Well, all the Shelby brothers, apart from Finn, has fucked off somewhere. Michael and Polly has also fucked off. Isaiah and Finn are probably at the Garrison"
"Thank you" Elsie smiled. She said goodbye as she left and she decided to walk to the Garrison.
She walked in and saw Finn and Isaiah acting like guards. Finn's face brightened as he saw her, "Elsie" he greeted, initiating a hug, pulling her closer to him.
"Finn" she giggled, "didn't think you'd be this happy to see me" she said, placing a kiss on his cheek.
"When was I ever unhappy to see you?" He questioned with a brow raised.
She pretended to think back with a playful frown, "well..." She began but Finn poked her side causing her to giggle, "never."
"You two are sickening" Isaiah joked.
Elsie stuck out her tongue at him, "jealous?" She questioned.
He shook his head, "Nah, I've had plenty of female companionship"
"Did you pay for all of them?" Elsie asked with an innocent smiled.
"Come here you" Isaiah lunged for Elsie but she pushed herself away from Finn with a yelp and ran out of the pub and down the street with Isaiah chasing after her and Finn shaking his head at the pair as he ran after them.

Elsie sat with Finn in the private booth at the Garrison, he was smoking a cigarette with a glass of whiskey, that they had stolen from the bar, placed in front of him, Elsie was playing with the hem of her dress. "Finn?" She said questionably, slowly looking up at him.
"Yes, Elsie?" He replied, looking at her.
"Before Tommy's wedding, he came over to my house and he told me you started using snow again. Are you still using it?" She asked quietly, slinking back just in case he got defensive.
Finn looked down guiltily, "I have done" he admitted, "but since you've came back I've only used it a couple times but that was since Isaiah or Michael were using it and I thought I should too"
"Oh." She looked back up to him, "I know I can't tell you what to do but please stop using Snow, okay?" She asked him.
"Okay" he said, he leant down hesitantly and pressed a soft kiss to her lips.
"Promise?" She mumbled against his lips.
"Promise" he replied, holding her head as he made the kiss deeper.
Elsie manoeuvred herself onto his lap, straddling his waist as he held his head in her hands too. She sighed against his lips before pulling back and resting her head against his neck, peppering light kisses against it.
Finn swore lightly as she kissed a sensitive spot on his neck. Elsie took to lightly sucking on it before someone walked in, causing her to move back, revealing the light purple tint on his skin. "Hi Michael" Elsie greeted, sliding off of Finn's lap and onto the seat.
"Do you want me to go...or?" He said, pointing to the door with his free hand, his other hand had a glass of whiskey in it.
"No, no, it's fine" Elsie said, Finn was yet to say anything as he hid his neck by slinking into his shirt, his face blazing. He nodded to his cousin who sat opposite them both.
Michael and the pair spent a few hours talking and drinking the whiskey they stole.
