"Please hurry up so we can catch Hannah in the canteen! You're all moving like turtles, and we might miss her!" Zach exclaimed, his impatience palpable as if his meal might vanish any moment. I just rolled my eyes at him while hearing my two friends laugh.

"Zach's losing it again," Nash chuckled, giving Red a playful nudge.

"Even if you see her, dude, you won't stand a chance with her because—" He paused, giving Zach a once-over.

"She's not interested in you," Zach arrogantly ran his fingers through his hair.

"With the number of girls chasing after him here, it's impossible for her not to like him," he confidently pointed at his face. His confidence was quite something, tsk tsk.

"Alright, let's go and see about that!" They suddenly stopped and turned to look at me.

"Oh, you're not coming?"

"Nah, I'll just wait for Rex," I lazily replied. I had a feeling they might embarrass themselves, and I didn't want my name associated with their foolishness. I'd rather have my name trending for pushing a girl than be embarrassed by one, tss.

"Oh sige dude see ya!" pero di ko na sila binigyang pansin kaya umalis na ang dalawa at sinundan ang putanginang si zach papuntang cafeteria.

"Anong kakainin mo?" tanong sa akin ng nerd kong kababata na si Merida.

"Mag ka-carbonara lang ata ako. "

"Wala ka bang friends dito?" mahinhin na tanong niya.

"Nope. Wala akong pake sa mga social climbers na mga yan."

"Grabe ka naman." napa rolyo na lamang ako sa kahinhinan niya.

Pero totoo naman eh! walang deserving dito sa school na mapalapit sa kagaya ko tss.

"Alam mo ang tagal tagal na simula ng makita kita pero di ka parin nag babago tiyaka anyare ba at nag transfer ka ng school?" pero nakayuko lamang ito at hindi na ginalaw ang pagkain niya kaya binaba ko naman ang chopsticks ko. I can see the anguish and pain in her eyes. It looks like something serious happened, and she went through a lot, which is why she transferred.
