Chapter 7

Cassidy's POV

I climbed over the fence and was climbing down the other side, I was only a few feet from the ground and I felt a pair of hands around my waist.  I looked behind me and saw that is was Pony,  I looked at the ground. I was low enough to jump,  I took in a deep breath, felt his grip tighten, and I let go of the fence. 

Ponyboy caught me in his arms and didn't let go until I was steady, once I was steady he let go and smiled his a million dollar smile. "Thanks" I smiled back.

He grinned,"No problem. Want a coke?"

I smiled, "If your paying" I joked.

"Let's go" I said looking behind me already walking to the stand. 

We got two cokes and right when Pony was about to pay I pulled out a dollar,"What are doing?" He asked.

"I owe you a dollar, remember?"  I reminded him.

 He shook his head no," No I told you to forget about it. Stop, let me pay."

I gave him a reckless grin and before he was able to pay I gave the cashier the dollar a millisecond before he did.

 Pony glared, I gave him an innocent smile,"What?"

He grunted,"You know what." I rolled my eyes,"Well get over it." I grabbed our cokes and made my way over to the seats Pony walking closely behind, I sat down and handed Pony his coke.

"Next time I'm paying" He grumbled.

I laughed as I took a sip accidently getting soda up my nose,"Oh my god!" I screeched holding my nose and started laughing at myself.

"You okay?" Pony asked with a chuckle. I held my nose still laughing,"Y-Yeah" I said between laughs.

He laughed along with me a few minutes later we stopped when they turned the projector on. We sat there waiting for the movie to start in corner of my eye I saw Pony's arm raise I waited in excitement for it to lay over my shoulder, but unfortunately it didn't happen.

"Hey guys!" I looked. Johnny walked through the ile of seat and plopped down next to me,"Ya'll miss me?"

Shaking my head I giggled.  It got quiet as the movie started and the intro began to play.

We were in about the middle of the movie,  I was really enjoying it I had my head on Johnny's shoulder as the movie played.

I heard a clip clopping of heels I knew who it was but I didn't react,  she doesn't control me.

Angela tapped my shoulder, I sighed and turned my head my shoulders dropping in disappointment that I was right,"What do you want Shepard?" I asked bitterly.

"I want to talk to you" she stated. She gave Pony and Johnny a quick glance,"Alone if you don't mind."

I turned my head back to the screen,"I'm actually watching a movie, so, yeah, I do mind." 

I felt Angela bend down to my ear,"Nice arm. Your dad do it?"

I scoffed,"You- ARGH."

I stood up angrily with clenched teeth and fist,"I'll be right back" I told Johnny and Pony. I stomped away following Angela, she led me behind the concession  stand.

 I leaned on the fence,"What the hell do you want?" I asked bitterly.

"Sorry I had to pull you away from your brother third wheel date with Ponyboy" She said with a smirk.

 I kept a straight face trying my best not to show emotion, when she saw I had no reaction or response she continued,"So what happen to your arm? Parents?"
