“Daphne, Jen, Kate! Let’s go! We’re going to be late for the concert!” I exclaimed, as I waited for my friends to get their butts downstairs so we could go to the concert.
Now you may be wondering what concert I was so worked up for. Well let me introduce myself first. My name is Jessica Lynn Davis. I’m 14 years of age with straight shoulder length black hair, chocolaty brown eyes. I’m interested in the violin, piano, reading and writing.
Today, my friends, Daphne, Jenny and Katherine, and I were going to a Justin Bieber concert! It’s our first concert by ourselves after my mom drops us off.
“We’re coming! Chill your pants.” Jenny said as they bounded down the stairs finally. We hugged and ran out the door to my mom’s car.
“I’ll wait on you forever, everyday hand and foot. You’re world is my world. Yeah” We listened as my ‘My World 2.0’ CD blasted on the way to the venue.
“Now, girls, when you get in there, I want you to get your shirts and go to your seats right away.” My mom explained for the thousandth time as she turned the CD down a little bit.
“Yes, mom, we know. We have everything; money, cameras, and our tickets.” I said looking at her.
“I know, Jessica. I just want you guys to have fun which I’m sure you will.” She looked at me for a second then looked back at the road.
The rest of the ride was silent except for Justin’s wonderful voice filling the car. When we pulled into the venue parking lot, I pulled out my phone and snapped a picture of the outside of the venue and tweeted it with the caption @justinbieber concert with my besties @jennylee, @daphlee and @katetm (AN. Made up twitters except @justinbieber)
Before we got out of the car, I gave my mom a hug over the middle compartment, “Thank you for bringing us here, Mom! Love you!”
When we got out of the car, we looked at each other and shouted, “Freedom!” running into the arena laughing. As we ran in we got into line for t-shirts and decided we were going to get the same shirts.
After we got out shirts we searched for our seats. When we found our section, we asked one of the workers where our seats were and he pointed us in the direction of them. Our seats are amazing!
*Fast Forward *
The concert is fantastic! I still can’t believe we got to be here. I’m really lucky to have a mom like the one I have.
“Hey, Everybody, How are you all doing tonight?!” Justin asked through his microphone. We all responded with screams.
He chuckled, “That’s good! I’m going take a break and be singing one more song then reading some of your tweets, so if you have any questions tweet me!”
My friends and I immediately whipped out our phones and started tweeting Justin.
@jessielynn: waiting for @justinbieber to read some tweets. How’s the view from up there Justin?!
I really didn’t know what to tweet him so I just asked him a simple question.
“Hey, guys, what did you tweet him?” I asked Katie and Daphne, knowing that Jenny didn’t have twitter mobile.
“I said, @justinbieber can you do a cover of ‘I Just Haven’t Met You Yet’?” Katie responded, smiling because that is her favorite song.
“I said, @justinbieber can you give me, my sister @jennylee and my best friends a shout out @Jessielynn and @katetm. What’d you say, Jess?”
“Waiting for @justinbieber to read some tweets. How’s the view from up there Justin? I didn’t really know what to say.” I said, as we laughed at my pathetic tweet.
