When Alec woke up in the next morning, all he could think of was Magnus. His voice, his eyes, his laugh ... He couldn't get him out of his head. He couldn't believe it himself, but it was true that for the first time ever, he truly enjoyed a party. But what now? He could act as if Magnus was indifferent to him. And how are his parents going to react? But he was too happy to think about all this. All he cared about was how he is going to react with Magnus now. Was he even gonna see him again. Even if Magnus seemed to be interested in Alec, he didn't see why he would want to see him again.

After all these thoughts, Alec got out of bed, got dressed. Then his phone rang. He took it and see that someone texted him. It was a number that he didn't know. He read the message:

"Hi Alexander, it's Magnus! I hope you're okay and that you remember me J"

Alec couldn't help himself but smile. Yes, he was happy because Magnus texted him. Moreover, if Magnus really didn't care about him, he wouldn't have taken his phone and texted him.

Alec: "Hi ... Of course, I didn't forget you. So, did you like the party?"

Magnus' answer came almost immediately.

Magnus:" I loved it, Isabelle is great for organizing parties!"

Alec: "It's very strange for me to say that, but I actually really liked the party too. I had fun!"

Magnus: "That's great. And I'm happy to have met you ;)"

Alec: "Me too ... You're really cool."

Magnus: "Well ... thank you."

Cool? Was it all he could have said? Alec feels so stupid sometimes, he really wasn't gifted for compliments ... He was sure that Magnus finds him stupid ...

Alec bit his bottom lip, thing that he did only when was stressed or uncomfortable. He immediately stopped and decided to take a shower. To him, it was too many sensations at once.

The, as it was Sunday, Alec allowed him himself to rest a little. He was so tired with university ... Indeed, his schedule didn't allow him to rest a lot, so when he checked what he had to do for university and saw that he had no exams for the week to come, he was relieved. He can enjoy his Sunday.

A few hours later, Alec heard someone knock on the door. He opened his eyes: he fall asleep on his bed, fully dressed, with an open book next to him. He had slept all afternoon. But it was because of this party! He wasn't used to go to bed so late. And Magnus ...

He heard knocked again on his bedroom door. He sighed, get out of his bed and opened the door. Isabelle came into the room, very excited. Wasn't she never tired?

She sat on Alec's bed and looked at him with a big smile. A look so insistent that Alec felt forced to ask her what was going on.

"What?"

"So, with Magnus?"

Alec knew that his sister was direct and curious, but this time it was clearly none of her business. Yeah it was thanks to her that he met Magnus nut that's not a reason to imagine things and to meddle in his life. Nevertheless, Alec felt something when Izzy mentioned Magnus. But as usual, he ignored this feeling and answered coldly:

"What do you mean?"

"I want you to know if you like him! You seemed to both get along so well, yesterday! So, what do you think about him? Did you get his number? Is it true that that he puts glitters in his hair?

Oh Izzy ... All these questions made him dizzy. He didn't remember none, and even if he did, he wouldn't have answered. Well, he did remember the question about the glitters. But how the hell would he know if Magnus puts glitters in his hair? It was private and he didn't want to talk about all this with Izzy. At least, not now.

"Glitters? Really?"

He couldn't help himself but ask. He was too curious.

"I don't know," replied Izzy, "Some of my friends says so but I have never checked by myself...

"Well, me neither."

Alec thought that she'll leave now, because he considered that the conversation was over. But she was continuing to look at him. He was getting impatient.

"What do you want?"

"You can't fool me, Alec. Not me."

"Stop, Izzy."

Izzy, far from being upset, insisted so much that Alec ended up to tell her everything so she can leave him alone.

"Okay, you won! At the party, we gave each other our phone number, we texted each other a little this morning and that's all! And don't imagine things that aren't going to happen."

"Okay ..." Izzy answered with a mischievous air.

It seems that she got what she wanted because she finally left Alec's bedroom, and without stopping to smile. Alec shook his head, exasperated. He loved his sister but why was she so curious?

The problem with Alec is that he never showed his feelings. He felt obliged to build himself a carapace and to lock himself in. And nobody, even Izzy, had managed to get him out. He didn't trust anybody? And soon as he felt something, he pushed way that feeling, convinced that it was a waste of time.

So, when Magnus texted him again this evening, he answered very coldly.

Magnus: "So, did you forget me? ;)"

Alec: "Listen, I don't have time for this now."

Magnus: "Okay ..."

Alec knew that he had answer very coldly but he couldn't help himself. He didn't know how to deal with all that was happening with Magnus. He didn't see why Magnus would want to continue to talk to him. He found that weird. However, he felt guilty when he thought how he had answered to him, late in bed. He felt so guilty that he took his phone and sent a text to Magnus.

Alec: "I'm so sorry for my previous answer ... I can be very stupid sometimes.

There it is. He didn't know what to say except that, and he hoped that Magnus won't be mad at him. Anyway, Magnus answered immediately. Obviously.

Magnus: "It's okay Alexander, don't worry about that J) Have a good night."

Alec put his phone down and lay down in his bed. And for the first time ever, he fell asleep with a smile on his face.
