(Newt P.O.V.)
Newt and Tina appeared in the dark alleyway facing Queenie and Jacob.

"Finally made it?" Queenie joked. She turned around and led them down the stairs leading to the Blind Pig's entrance. Queenie magically changed into a pink dress that looked very silky. Tina went to change her own clothes, and that's when they both realized that they were still holding each other's arms. They both blushed as they let go and Tina changed her clothing into a simple dark grey and black dress with a few gems on it. Queenie knocked on the Blind Pig's wall in the same pattern the first time they went here, Newt noted, and the wall started to slide to the side to let them in.

The four entered and Newt looked around at his surroundings. There was the bar on the other side of the room with a house-elf cleaning a glass, a stage which a band of Goblins was performing, and a lot of tables with mean-looking wizards sitting at them watching others. A few of them were asleep. Probably drunk. Newt thought and chuckled to himself. He had never in his life, been drunk. He remembered the one time when he had to deal with his brother, Theseus when he got drunk at a party for the Ministry once. He remembered how he was embarrassing himself, and Newt, in front of the entire Ministry. He was flirting with any woman he could find, (he still practically did that when he was sober) and he told bad embarrassing stories to important men from the Ministry, and he nearly (at one point) got up on the stage that the band was playing on to embarrass himself even more. Newt had to tackle Theseus down and apparate him away before he could do anything worse. Newt laughed a little loud after the memory, it was quite amusing now that he thought about it.

"What are you laughing at?" Newt heard a voice. He turned and saw Tina looking at him with a confused expression on her face.

"Oh, nothing, just a little memory," Newt said, still chuckling.

"No, really. What's so funny? You're still laughing about it whatever it is." Tina looked at him with such a stern face that it clearly said tell-me-or-so-help-me-I'll-kill-you.

"Alright, fine. I'll tell you about it." Newt and Tina walked over to the bar and sat down. The house-elf looked at them expecting them to order something so Tina took the chance and did so.

"Some giggle water and fire whiskey please." The house-elf snapped his fingers and giggle water and fire whiskey appeared. Tina took some fire whiskey and asked,
"So, what's the story?" So Newt began to tell her what he had to deal with when his brother Theseus had gotten drunk the one night at the Ministry party. He began at when he started to drink, he was brushed off by a girl he really liked that night so he started to drink and soon he became drunk. He continued how he kept embarrassing himself in front of the entire Ministry and finished it how he had to apparate him to his house and put a sleeping spell on him to get him to actually relax. When he finished, he didn't expect Tina to actually have enjoyed his story.

"That is a pretty interesting story, Mr. Scamander. You must have a great experience with drunk people then don't you?"

"Well, actually that was the first time I ever dealt with someone who was drunk. I don't go drinking often." Newt explained. He really wasn't a drinker, and anyways he couldn't afford to be drunk, for he had his creatures he had to look after.

"Well then, try some of this. It's really good." Tina held a glass of fire whiskey towards Newt and she was looking unstable herself. She already had four glasses of fire whiskey throughout Newt's story, and she looked like she was depending on the bar counter to hold her upright. "Come on Newt, it's really not all that strong. I've had four and I'm fine!" Tina insisted.

"No, Tina, really, I rather not..." Newt protested.

"Fine then, if you won't drink it, then I will." And with that, Tina raised the glass to her lips and gulped the whiskey down in one swallow. Five glasses. That didn't seem to be a good amount to Newt. Fire whiskey was pretty strong in Newt's opinion, but Tina didn't seem to think it was.

"If you'll excuse me, Tina, I need to talk to Queenie real quick..." He got up and went over to the table that Queenie and Jacob were sharing.

"Er... Queenie, can I talk to you?" Newt said when he reached their table.

"Sure, what's up?" She got up and walked over in Newt's direction. She glanced at Jacob and gave him a smile that said I'll-be-right-back.

"Er... Queenie, I think Tina has had too much fire whiskey."

"How much has she had?" Queenie glanced worriedly over to her sister sitting at the bar.

"Uh, five glasses I think." Newt saw Queenie's shoulders relax a bit.

"Oh, Newt, don't worry. She'll be fine. She's used to having at least five or six glasses. She hates parties, and she always drinks at them to keep her from socializing, so she'll be perfectly fine. But, if she does do anything, take her home and put her to bed. Kay?"

"Um, okay," Newt answered unsure what to think about Queenie's response.

"And, I appreciate your concern about my sister." Queenie gave Newt a quick wink and slipped away to join Jacob again. Newt blushed. He walked back to Tina to see her holding another glass of fire whiskey. Concerned, he asked, "Um, Tina, how much more have you had since I've been gone?" He sat down and grabbed the glass out of Tina's hand.

"Honestly, Mr. Scamander, does it really matter?" Tina answered with a woozy voice.

"We need to get you home before you do something you'll regret." Newt went to grab Tina's arm to apparate them back to her apartment, but she moved out of the way quickly.

"No, I would like to stay and continue having fun, Mr. Scamander." Newt winced at the way she dragged out his last name like she was annoyed with him, but he knew she was just playing and was badly drunk. But then, while Newt was distracted, Tina got up, grabbed Newt's coat, and apparated away from the Blind Pig. This is supposed to be the other way around... Newt needed to get Tina back home, and he was trying to grab her and apparate away from the Blind Pig, not her apparating them both somewhere.

They finally landed on solid ground, and Newt looked around at his surroundings. Tina had apparated them both to a tight little corner in an alleyway that was hidden from view from the street. This... this was the alleyway where Tina had brought Newt to interrogate him after his niffler went loose in the bank.

But what Tina did next Newt didn't expect it at all. She grabbed the front of his coat, pulled him towards her, and kissed him. She pushed him back against the wall -which wasn't all that far behind him- and eventually pulled away. For some reason, even though Newt knew she was drunk and had no idea what she was doing, all he wanted was for her lips to be back on his.

"I've been wanting to do that for a very long time," Tina whispered, still close to his face. Before Newt could register what he was doing, he put his hands on her back and pressed his lips to hers. They kissed for what felt like an hour before they pulled away. They were both breathing heavily when they pulled apart, and Newt realized what he should be doing instead of kissing Tina who didn't even know that she was kissing him. Merlin's beard... what is wrong with me? So he apparated to the Goldstein apartment.

They arrived with a pop! and Tina had stumbled and Newt had to steady her so she wouldn't fall over. He carried her into her bedroom, set her on her bed, and cast a sleeping spell over her just like he had done with his brother the one time. He made sure she was fine, then descended into his case and retreated to the bed he slept in so many times when he traveled. He laid there, thinking of his feelings about Tina. How he got that twinge in his stomach when he would see her smile, how she was just so gentle with his creatures, and that she actually enjoyed the presence of them. He thought of it for what felt like hours, and deep down, he really did know, that him, Newt Scamander...

Loved Tina Goldstein.
