(Tina P.O.V.)

Tina, Queenie, and Jacob stood under a giant tree, meeting up with each other after their morning search.

"Find anything?" Tina asked the other two. Tina had gone on her own, while Queenie and Jacob had gone together. They had thought that by splitting up they could cover more ground. The two nodded their heads, and Tina sighed with disappointment.

"Me neither." She informed. They had been searching for almost three hours and they still hadn't found a single trace of where Credence might be.

"This search is a bust," Jacob said. Tina silently agreed, but she knew they couldn't give up just yet.

"I know we can find something. We just got to search harder..." Tina trailed off at the look of Queenie's face.

"I hate to say it Teenie, but I think we should call it quits. It's nearly noon, and me and Jacob are getting hungry. Plus I think it's going to rain. We can start again tomorrow." Queenie looked at her with a pleading face, silently begging to end their search. But Tina was stubborn as sod, and there was no way she was going to give up this early. She was given a task, and she would not rest until it was completed.

"You guys go ahead and go back. I'm going to stay out for a few more hours at least and keep searching." Tina looked at the crowds of people on the surrounding sidewalks, looking for any clue of Credence or Newt. If she was to be honest with herself, she had been more focused on finding any sign of Newt than finding Credence, and it made her feel guilty for choosing something else over her job. For she was an auror after all.

"Aw, Teen. Don't feel guilty for that, you can't help it. There is no way you can control your love for him." Tina felt a blush start to creep up her neck, and she sternly told Queenie,

"Stop reading my mind!" Then she whispered, "And I'm not in love with him."

Queenie shrugged. "You know it's true. Well, I guess you can continue searching while me and Jacob go back to the Scamander's. Don't stay out too long!" Queenie called as she disapparated with Jacob. Tina rolled her eyes as she started to head towards an unexplored area she had seen earlier. It looked more abandoned, and she thought it looked like a place somebody would hide if they didn't want to be found.

A sudden gust of January wind rustled her hair as she shivered, and she put her hands in her pockets as she drew her coat closer around her. As she edged closer to the old looking buildings, she had this sudden feeling that she was being watched. She couldn't shake it, and at one point she had turned around to make sure. She didn't see anything, so she continued her way to investigate the area. She inched closer and closer, the buildings becoming old and worn down brick and stone. She approached one of the buildings slowly, seeing a paper flier posted at the door, the wind threatening to rip it off. At the top of it in big red letters it read:

NOTICE:

This building has been condemned due to unsafe and unsanitary conditions. Trespassing on this territory is a violation of the law and could result in injury or even death.

Tina scoffed. She doubted that a condemned building could be so dangerous that it could kill someone. She thought it was probably the muggle police attempting to scare off anybody who passed through here. Minor injury, however, she could understand.

She went back to the main road, advancing farther into the abandoned area. She noticed as she walked by the buildings, that all of them had the same message she had read at the first one. She went to a somewhat decent looking building, entering through its creaky door and peering at its interior. She pulled out her wand and lit it, seeing a tiny area with a staircase. There was a doorway on the right, keeping her guard up as she stepped towards it, avoiding the dusty splintered wood on the ground. She pushed the door fully open, stepping inside the darkened room.
