Y/n's POV
"Dude. The reason why people have out of body experiences have to be out of terror! Like they can't fathom the fact that they are in a life or death situation, even though they usually live." Aaron says as his eyes go wide and he opens the fridge
You have to be kidding me. "Yes, Aaron, that's been proven already," Melissa says as she rolls her eyes
"Really? Geez I thought I was the first one to figure that out! Welp, back to being a failure," Aaron says disappointedly
"You're not a failure, Aaron! If you keep saying that I'll fight you!" Mom yells from her bedroom
"Okayy... anyway, how are you doing, Y/n? I mean like, mentally." Aaron asks as he sits down at the table with a yogurt
"I'm fine, quit worrying about me. It's ok." I say looking at him
"Well, you spent a week shutting us out sooo... I kind of just... worry," Aaron says standing back up
"I know, I know, it's ok, I'm not saying you aren't allowed to worry, just... I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me." I say standing up and putting my empty bowl in the sink
"Ok. Anyway, I love Saturday's. You know why? Because we don't have to do anything until Monday morning for school!" Aaron says really excited
"I believe this is the twentieth time you told us this but yes we know. Good thing it's Saturday!" Melissa says punching Aaron in the arm
"Pfff have not!" Aaron exclaims punching Melissa back
"Uhhhh... sorry Aaron, but every single Saturday you say the exact same thing." I say timidly smiling
"Come on guys! We have plans today! Get dressed and ready! We're going to the park with the Ro'meaves' at noon!" Mom yells
"Okay!" We all day in unison and run upstairs quickly
I can't wait to see Garroth! I wonder how he's doing. He wasn't at school yesterday because of some family thing.
What if that's why mom and dad were out of town yesterday? What if there was a meeting thing for the company?
Eh, I shouldn't care.
And I don't.

Garroth's POV
"Hey, Dad? What time are we hanging out with the Lycans'?" I ask as I am about to run upstairs
"Noon. Please don't make us late. Tell your brothers too," Dad says as he buttons up his shirt
"Okay, and Dad?" I say
"Yeah?"
"Change your shirt," I say as I walk up the stairs
"Got it. Park not funeral, right?" He says laughing
"Yeah," I say laughing
I miss him. I mean not right now because he's here but he's gone so much. Mom stays home to take care of us but I just wish he were home more often.
But it's ok.
I just have to keep telling myself that.
