"Hey!" Shouted another voice, "Put her down!"
A female guard rushed towards us. The man let go of my arm and staggered off. I slumped to the ground and cried. The female guard sat next to me and pulled me into her lap. She slipped candy into my hand.
"Shh, hey it's okay. I'm Zula, what's your name?" She asked. Before I answered the vision skipped. Suddenly, my mother was knelt in front of me.
"Shh. Don't cry. I'll be back." She said.
It skipped again. It was raining. A guard hassled a women. He stabbed her with his spear. A child screamed,
"MAMA! NO!" Wailing she ran away.
I shot up from my bed.
'Don't cry' I told myself.
Wiping the sweat from my forehead, I got out of bed and went to the door. With a soft creak, I crept down the hallway. I tiptoed down the hallway until I reached yet another door. I pushed it open slight and looked through the crack. The throne room was lit up with glowing flowers. The room's walls were made of soft tree bark that sparkled every color. A Fairy Tree. A path of poppies grew up to the foot of a throne then dispersed into orchids that surrounded the throne. The throne itself was made of vines and golden sunflowers. A man sat on the throne. King Vancin.
