The truck. Chapter 2

Once we got everything that we wanted f I'm the gas station, we went looking for gas. I went to see if any of the gas pumps had any, Addy and Warren tried to get gas from a black mini van. Doc and 10k tried a red truck.

We found a few gallons. We all got back into the truck and went back on our way.

Everyone is so nice even though I don't know how to act around them most of the time. I don't wanna mess it up and get kicked out of the group, so I kinda stay to myself.

I lay down the bed of the truck and watch the tree tops as we fly by. I had a feeling that I was being watched, but I didn't mind.

I ended up falling asleep. I was awoken by 10k. "We ran out of gas" he said. I sat up and got out of the best of the truck and grabbed my things.

We began walking. Maybe an hour into walking, we came up to a house. "we're gonna stay here for a few days, so everyone can rest up" Warren said as she walked into the house. I heard a few shots and Addy stuck her head out of the house and said "all clear".

I had put my things down in the house, and walked out side. I had volunteered to take watch, so that 10k could sleep. He looked like he hadn't slept in a while. I sat down on the porch after walking all the way around the house. I didn't want to wake anyone so I used my knife instead of my gun.

I had only seen a few Z through out the night and the sun was just starting to shine. Addy had can out and said she would watch for a while. I went in and grabbed one of my bags and went to the room I thought Addy had. I opened the door to see I had the wrong room, all I seen was 10k. He looked so peaceful. I slowed backed up and shut the door.

I found the room and sat down on the bed. I opened the bag I had grabbed on my way up. It had a little water and a rag. I took the rag wet it and cleaned myself up.

I cleaned up and layed down to go to sleep but I couldn't. I layed there for a while and ended up falling asleep.
